Another wonderful stay at Jim and Peggy Wynn's home away from home (our 3rd visit)! Their place is perfect for us and we love it here. Check out our previous reviews from July 2024 and February 2025 - as it covers our wonderful experience here. Jim and Peggy are absolutely wonderful hosts, going above and beyond to ensure we felt welcomed and comfortable throughout our stay. Their warmth, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality has truly made our ongoing experience here very memorable. We can't thank them enough for making us feel right at home!

Jess’s place was so snug. My family loved the layout, comfy beds, & all the special touches. This home felt so comfortable that we felt right at home. Jess was very responsive & helped when we left our son’s Mickey Mouse blanket he’s had since he was one. Great stay! We were also really close to everything we needed. Target & Walmart both are just about a mile away. Jake’s dinner had yummy breakfast too.

Joshua was a great host. He was always attentive to our needs and friendly. I asked to check in early, and he did his best to let us in a bit early. He gave me some recommendations when I asked. His place is peaceful and clean. If I ever visit High Point, I will definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect spot to lay my head for my trip to High Point furniture market . It did not have a kitchen but had a microwave coffee pot and mini fridge to meet all my needs ( I ate out mostly) . I’d come back again. Wonderful hosts!

This is the 3rd time Dwayne, Hoover and I have stayed here. Its such a quiet and relaxing place. Hoover knew exactly where he was and he remembered Lisa and Ginny. I always feel welcome here. Its quiet. There is everything that you need at the apartment. And its not too far from a main highway so everything is convenient. Lisa is an awesome hostess and is always very helpful. We can't wait to visit again. If you are looking for a relaxing vacation spot this is the place! Thank you so very much Lisa and Ginny for another wonderful stay.

This apartment was just as described! I was in town for my son's Parents' Weekend at HPU and I booked this spot for my husband and me to stay. My husband got sick at the last minute, so I was so thankful to have a place that felt cozy and safe for my time there alone. They really do have everything that you could think of! I felt right at home and even fell asleep (for a little while) on the couch with the cozy throw blankets. The bed was super-comfortable with soft sheets. I did not hear any noises from the upstairs home. The street parking is well-lit and I had no problem parking right by the walkway to the entrance. Everything was very clean! The bathroom was newly renovated and I particularly liked the wall heater and the cute basketweave tile. There was a lovely basket of snacks on my arrival and even a bottle of wine from a local winery! I hope that my husband will be able to join me at the Carolina Cottage on our next visit to HPU! Thanks for letting me stay!

My wife and I were visiting to attend a wedding. The location was great, not far from the interstate, easy walk to local shops and restaurants, quick drive to the wedding in Welcome, NC. We enjoyed our stay, Josh was a great host, the space was amazing! I definitely recommend staying here!!!

By far my favorite airB&B yet!! The location is unbeatable and just the perfect place to unwind and enjoy nature and a view! 100% suggest you put this at the top of your list. The host was quick to respond, flexible and beyond accommodating to us. Her kindness and efficient communication was also key to our trip’s success and fulfillment. Thank you so much, Kelly!

Overall, great stay. The place was everything they advertised it to be. Our daughter is in college at UNCG and we'll definitely be looking to use this place again in the future.

We felt right at home. Very peaceful and you can see a ton of stars at night. Sharon was such a great host. Sitting in the outside patio in the morning was the perfect way to start our day. Close to everything you need but far enough away from the city to relax and unwind. The pool was fun and refreshing. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great find here in Winston Salem! Loved the garage feature, it gave a home like feel. Super clean linens and hot shower water! Living room was cozy fell asleep on couch twice lol. Thanks for the stay!

The Joyful Loft is truly a "home away from home". Lots of nearby activities if you're interested, many eateries. Just want to stay in and relax? The Joyful Loft is great for that also. You won't be disappointed. Can't wait til my next trip; hope the Loft is available.

Perfect peaceful country retreat for when we visit family. Jill and Dave are such nice friendly hosts and their place does not disappoint. Very clean and comfortable.

What a relaxing stay! It was clean, quiet, safe, cute as a button, and completely updated. I drove from Atlanta for 5 hours to visit my aunt for her birthday. It took everything I had to get off the super comfy king-sized bed to complete my mission. I'm going to book his place again the next time I have to be in the area!

Our stay was excellent, the listing was the perfect place for my extended weekend trip to the area. The location is extremely close to downtown Winston-Salem and the nearby schools, with many great restaurants a walkable distance. We really enjoyed our time here and would most definitely come back !

John and his wife were very welcoming. The accommodations were exactly what I needed after spending days packing for a move. The area is very quiet and peaceful and my favorite part was sitting on the back patio surrounded by a mini forest! It gives a calm and serene feeling.

This place was absolutely charming and spotlessly clean. All the beauty of an old home but with all modern amenities. Lots of plants and natural light. The kitchen is a great spot for bird watching. We would definitely recommend a stay there!! Fantastically priced as well. Close to downtown and all the fun the town has to offer.

We loved loved loved our stay. I was impressed with the kitchen. Nice pans, with decent seasonings we were able to make an easter dinner no problem. The couch was large and inviting. The house was perfect for our stay. One could easily walk to downtown and the bars nearby but still had quiet privacy. 11/10 recommend

This studio apartment suited our needs perfectly. It had all of the amenities we needed and was in a nice neighborhood just minutes away from the Elon University campus. Access was simple and flexible and Maureen was a great host!
