初の尾道、しまなみ海道でしたが、最高の思い出になりました。 宿から美しい瀬戸内海、そこに浮かぶ島々を一望出来ます。一歳児を含む家族4人で3泊の滞在でしたが色々と融通も利かせて頂き大変助かりました。また、カヤックやSUPのようなアクティビティも充実しており言うこと無しでした。 また行きたいです！ PS 備え付けのブランコは子供たちには大好評でした！

今回は親の還暦祝いで利用しました。大人から子供まで楽しめる施設で大満足でした。1泊だと本当にもったいなく、次回泊まるならば2泊以上で泊まりたいと思いました。清潔感もあり設備も最新で本当におすすめの場所です。

母の誕生日をお祝いするために、こちらで素敵な一夜を過ごしました。 天気が心配だったので少し早めに出発し、予定のチェックイン時間よりも早く到着してしまいましたが、ホストさんが親切に迎えて、丁寧にいろいろなことを説明いただきました。本当にありがとうございました。 お部屋は清潔で、設備や生活用品もとても充実していました。夜はバーベキューを楽しみましたが、必要な道具はすべて揃っていて、食材も車で十数分のスーパーで簡単に買い揃えることができました。 ちょうど寒くて雨の降る天気でしたが、エアコンをつけると部屋の中はとても暖かく快適でした。海辺の景色も本当に美しくて、今回が初めての向島ではありませんが、これまでで一番印象に残る滞在になりました。また、もっと多くの友人たちと一緒に行きたいと思います。

Very nice house with beautiful utensils, also all the electric appliances is high quality. Very sweet to prepare coffee drip bags and little gift for us. Also the whiskey glass is crystal by baccarat. 🥃 We enjoyed the local whiskey 戶河內with it. The bath tub with the carbonated water is good for our skin and relaxing.

Outstanding stay! Our hosts, Yukari and Hiroshi, were especially gracious and welcoming. They made our commute easy - Hiroshi picked us up at the train station for the scenic 1/2 hour commute to the island house and drove us back to the station on our departure. Their immaculate and stylish bungalow is perched practically on the edge of the sea, lapping waves just beyond ... ocean facing floor-to-ceiling windows, restaurant-style kitchen, comfortable beds, soaking tub, and all the amenities to put you at ease. They shared their car with us and treated us like old friends! A short walk from a small farmer's market and intimate shrine, and within in a short drive of great seafood restaurants. A remote island amid citrus groves and small fishing communities, Oshiba is an off-the-map treasure in Japan. Truly quiet and calm, we waved to a mere handful of passersby on the busiest day, while we sat outside. We dream of returning!

We rented both deep and shallow sea to fit 5 adults and two kids. Set up was perfect as they connect to each other so can be as open or private as needed. Location is right next to bridge leading up to the shimanami kaido path and houses have stunning views of bridge and the inland sea. There are some cute cafes within walking distance but most of the town/restaurants/grocery stores are a quick car ride away. Beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Host was very responsive, friendly, and helpful. Would love to come back!

I had a wonderful stay here! The hosts were absolutely lovely—so warm and welcoming. They made me feel completely at ease from the moment I arrived. You can tell they’re genuinely happy people, and that positive energy really made the experience special. I highly recommend staying here to anyone visiting the Shimanami Kaido. It’s the perfect place to rest and recharge during your journey!

I would give 6 stars if I could - Extremely friendly hosts, very beautiful traditional guest house and the island is amazing as well. You will meet many interesting and kind people staying at the guest house as well. I would recommend joining in on the shared meals too, it's a lot of fun helping out with them and eating communally.
