Cannot recommend highly enough- the tent is so luxurious and comfortable in a beautiful setting, the fire place and pit and the outside bath make it a perfect winter getaway, and Toby and Helen were such lovely hosts! We arrived to complementary wine, cheese and chocolates and a lovely hand written card of welcome- really nice touches we felt very lucky! Thankyou so much Helen and Toby

What a great experience! Kids absolutely loved it - the atmosphere, animals and… TV in kids bedroom 😅 We saw some wild kangaroos, all the farm animals were friendly and a bit cheeky. We felt very spoilt with yummy stuff for breakfast, fantastic treasure hunt, gem and fossil dig, and all the little touches like bed time books, animal food.

This was our second stay at Kookawood and we loved it just as much as the first. It was such a relaxing stay and we can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed the place. The kids loved the experience of feeding the animals as well as the tranquility of the place. We also enjoyed the fire pit & fire place experience. Peter is very helpful and gave great recommendations around the area. The location is private but very accessible to the town of Orange.

Emily was thoughtful and accommodating host, place was nice and clean, great mattresses and bed linen was fresh and cozy. kitchen was clean and all the dishes was good withouth greasy feel to it. House had spectacular view. Only one thing for me, I wish property had trees that change colour in autumn as it would definitely add charm to it, may be in future 😊

We stayed for a girls weekend, and this house was the perfect cosy yet chic base for us. On arrival there was a s’mores kit with giant marshmallows, tim tams and chocolate which was an amazing surprise. The fluffy koala teddy’s made the bunk bed room!! Everything was spotless and new, with very comfortable beds. Christina was very responsive and helpful when one of the girls left their hair tool. Could not recommend more, we already want to go back!

Ideal for us as we had separate bedrooms with ensuites but combined lounge dining areas where could mingle. Accommodation was well maintained, very bad storms during our stay meant the surrounding grounds were damaged with sun shades blown off and gardens wind swept, but that was the result of mother nature not Angela.

Lovely family sized property set in a very peaceful location and very conveniently located with a few mins to Bathurst race course and town centre. House had lots of thoughtful supplies - such as extra towels, kitchen supplies and games. Felt very homely and comfortable.

We had a great time at the Blue Mountains. Unfortunately it was raining the entire time so couldn't do any walks but the house was still comfortable. We had a slow relaxing time with the fireplace going. Beds were very comfortable and the bath was great for the kids. Hopefully next time we get to sit outside on that inviting balcony. 😊
