Wonderful luxury cottage perched high on the mountain, close to everything, but with spectacular views over Akureyri and the fjord. Modern, clean and well stocked with amenities, including a hot tub and laundry. Arnor was very responsive and easy to work with, gave great suggestions for dining and activities. Highly recommend and can’t wait to visit again!

We had a magical couple of days at the hidden cottage. We came up to the north hoping to do some skiing with the kids. We had a beautiful drive up from Reykjavík and drove into a valley creeping into spring. We woke the next morning to a thick blanket of snow! It meant it was tricky to leave the cottage with our vehicle but the kids enjoyed a day in the snow and a bit of a hike up the valley. The cottage was clean, comfy and warm with beautiful views and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was fun. When we had to leave early the next day and were worried about the roads, Lea was extremely helpful. After a bit of snow shovelling we got on our way. The 4x4 we hired managed the main road into town no problem. We enjoyed looking around Siglufjordur on the way in and went via Akuyreyri on the way home where the kids had a fun swim and we managed to get on the slopes in the afternoon. We rented ski equipment on site. Wish we had had a couple more days to explore the towns a bit more!

Der gesamte Aufenthalt war wunderschön. Wir fühlten uns sehr geborgen. Das Häuschen lädt zum entspannen ein , man kann die Seele dort baumeln lassen. Die Hottube war ein Highlight, dass wir bei den kalten Temperaturen sehr genossen haben . In dem Häuschen mangelt es an nichts und würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Vielen Dank an die Gastgeberin für das Teilen dieses wunderbaren Ortes.

Daniel was a brilliant host, and we loved our stay there. He and Stefan were immediate and super helpful with their responses. The cabins are perfect, with amazing views of the scenery. The sauna and two hot tubs are great to watch the sunset and northern lights. The location is spectacular, which is perfect to unwind and relax in. We would highly recommend this stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Stefania’s place . It was clean, good sized rooms.The kitchen had everything you need . There was a hot tub that we enjoyed as well . The view from the living room was fantastic . Location is very good, close to the town . Thank you

Tolle, süße kleine Wohnung mitten in Akureyri. Ich habe mich sofort wohl gefühlt! Alles ist relativ neu und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Küche voll ausgestattet. Der Check-in mit Schlüsselbox war einfach und praktisch. Die Lage ist praktisch, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten um den Diamond Circle zu erkunden. Ich würde diese Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen! Lediglich manches Geschirr war nicht so sauber, das war aber nicht weiter schlimm.

Beautiful location with the perfect view and the host was lovely, made sure to check in with us to make sure we were all set for our stay. Would recommend the location and house, had great amenities and design.
