We stayed at Ilya's condo for a week and really loved the location! The condo is a 3 minute walk to the north end of Coco beach and a 3 minute walk to the restaurants, bars, and grocery store in the Las Palmas neighborhood. We also walked into downtown Coco a lot, but that was a little farther, maybe 15 mins. My favorite part of the condo was the rooftop terrace. We sat up there in the mornings drinking coffee and listening to the ocean waves. And in the evening, the sunsets were amazing! Ilya was a great host. He sent us recommendations for restaurants, activites, beaches to see, etc. He was very thorough at check-in, showing us features of the condo and around the complex. I'd recommend staying here to anyone interested in great views and close proximity to the Coco beach.

5 Stars – Unforgettable Beachside Retreat! We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this beautiful home in Palm Beach Estates! Dirk was an exceptional host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful throughout our visit. The house is just steps from the beach, making it easy to enjoy the ocean anytime. We especially loved the outdoor grill area—it was perfect for cooking up the fresh red snapper we got from the local fish truck. So delicious! The pool was a major highlight for our family. The colorful lights at night made it feel magical, and we spent many evenings playing Marco Polo with our girls—such great memories. The property was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The neighborhood felt safe and peaceful, with great access to local spots and the beach just around the corner. We can’t wait to come back and highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable beach getaway!

This is a beautiful condo that was well-appointed and spotless. Instructions were very clear and the guide in the condo suggested GREAT restaurants in the area. The clubhouse pool is amazing with a nice golf course view. Access to the beach club pools and beach are definitely one of the highlights. Amazing! Highly recommend for a relaxing and fun experience at Playa Conchal.

Ilya was super friendly and helpful. He met us at the gate for check-in and showed us around the unit and property. Everything was clean and easy to access. There are multiple restaurants within walking distance and a couple min drive into downtown you can find a ton more. The beach is also within walking distance. It’s a calm beach with black sand. Not a lot around there but we had fun with our kids. This place is peaceful and relaxing and has great views of the ocean. Would recommend!

We had a phenomenal stay here! We had a private balcony, large airbnb and access to all the amenities (tennis, pickle ball, pool, ice plunge). We were a less than 5 minute walk to the beach and local restaurants. There was no noise and the AC was amazing. Will definitely be staying here again

Bonjour Benoit, Juste un petit mot pour vous dire un grand merci. Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour dans la maison. L’environnement naturel était magnifique et tellement apaisant. Le matin, prendre notre petit-déjeuner à la table extérieure avec les oiseaux qui chantent et le renard qui passe était un vrai régal pour les sens. C'était une expérience mémorable que nous chérissons profondément. Nous envisageons déjà de revenir, c’est garanti! Encore une fois, merci pour tout.

Una casa realmente espectacular: las vistas, el atardecer, la piscina... todo con un gusto impecable. Verdaderamente uno no se quiere ir. Jeannyna, la anfitriona, muy amable, pendiente de que estuviéramos disfrutando la estancia, y con recomendaciones locales a las que le sacamos todo el partido. Pasamos unos días inmejorables, esperamos volver sin ninguna duda.

I stayed here with three friends for a girls’ trip, and we loved the outdoor living experience. The pool was amazing and felt very private. Overall, this was a great place to stay—we all agreed that the house made our trip even better. It was one of our favorite parts! Highly recommend!

Gil and Bernie’s place at Pueblo Del Mar was great! Checkin was a breeze. The home was beautiful with everything we needed. Gil and Bernie were very responsive and answered any questions on the area that we needed help with. The unit is right across from the pool that our kids loved, and spent majority of their time in. Gil and Bernie had kids floaties for the pool and toys for the beach. This place is set up for a family of 4. Very clean, just like the pictures and the description. The air conditioners and fans worked well and kept the place cool in the hot Tamarindo weather. If you are looking for a place that is quiet and in a good location in Tamarindo, this is the place. We would book again when coming back to Tamarindo. Thanks for everything Gil and Bernie.

Amazing! House was great and well equipped but the pool and the yard is what truly made it amazing. Very private, beautiful pool, lots of covered areas, mango trees and wildlife! Location is great, it’s an easy walk to the beach and to nearby restaurants. Thanks so much. Family had a great stay!!

La villa es preciosa y acogedora, tiene todo lo necesario para una estadía en familia. A los chicos les encantó el lugar y la piscina. Es muy tranquilo y seguro, super recomendado. Leímos reseñas de personas que decían lo que el lugar no tiene pero hay supermercados alrededor para suplir cualquier faltante.

Wonderful place in Tamarindo… it is walkable to town….. but I would recommend renting a golf cart. Such a unique place….. we loved all of the different spaces to hang out, either together of if you need some alone time. Great communication with the host, beautiful decor…… all in all a wonderful place

This place was amazing! Kitchen was well stocked, the grill was great for cooking. The location was ideal. It was so clean! Can’t recommend it enough.

This home is in a beautiful complex of villa types and hotel suites. The area provides access to pool areas, activities in the complex ad is very close to high quality restaurants and the beach. The house itself is designed and maintained beautifully, had all the appliances that we needed and enough space for a family with kids to stay out of each other's way, if needed :). The hosts had a lot of games and interesting books that we all enjoyed in the evenings. We received excellent recommendations and instructions from the host. This is a great place to have an airbnb with near-resort facilities.

We have an incredible stay at Villa Tranquila. The pool and patio area are private, spacious and offer a stunning view of Playa Hermosa. The house was very clean with spotless tile flooring throughout, large en-suite bathrooms, very well stocked kitchen and supplies. Deborah was quick to respond to things that came up - the safe was repaired quickly and an empty propane tank was replaced within minutes of reporting it. Deborah gave us ideas on activities and restaurants and Fernando the property manager is friendly and cheerful. I agree with others that a 4 wheel drive vehicle is needed for steep streets. We will recommend this property to others and will stay here again if we ever return to Costa Rica.

Such a gem in Tamarindo! We loved being surrounded by nature and having the pool. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked well. It can be a little hard to walk into the main town because the house is located uphill but it’s definitely doable. Jose provided us with recommendations and was very responsive. Overall I would highly recommend!
