The sanctuary is a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom guest house with a full kitchen and bathroom. We are located within a 5 minute drive to the beach, and 30 minutes away from Redwood State and National Parks. Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Pilot Rock Cottage

This little cottage has a view of the ocean, is private and in a quiet neighborhood, and is great home base for exploring the local area, or just enjoying reading by the fire. The house has all that you need for a relaxing get away. We lived in this home for several years and therefore it has all that you need such as a full kitchen, linens, washer/dryer, etc. We now provide WiFi. We also take COVID-19 seriously and ask that you observe all recommended precautions.

Located less than a mile from the Arcata Plaza, a five minute drive to the beach, and a five minute drive to the Redwoods. The house is a lovely space to unwind and relax by the fireplace after a busy day at work or play. The kitchen has the appliances and tools needed to create great meals.
