Just a 10-minute drive to the Straja chairlift — where mountain views and adventure await. Activities in the area: • Mountain hiking: Straja, Retezat • ATV and mountain bike rental • Winter sports: skiing The exterior of the chalet is not completely finished, but the interior is fully furnished and functional. NO work is being carried out during your stay.

If you are looking for a getaway in the middle of the mountain but not too far from civilization, this is your place! Perfect for hiking, 30km away from Straja ski resort and other attractions like Pasul Vulcan and Parang. It’s perfect for 2 adults and 2 kids or 3 adults. Cozy converted barn with fireplace; nature retreat

Newly restored and converted barn, a magical space with lovely views of the surrounding mountains and hills. The barn is ideal for 2-3 people, but can accomodate a maximum of 5, with a double, a single and a sofa bed (access to sleeping space requires climbing stairs or a ladder). 20 metres from the barn, there is wood and a fireplace for an evening chat and stargazing by the fire. An outdoor shower with solar heated water is also available. The kitchen is functional and has amazing views!

It is a secluded location from towns and villages, but not a cabin in the middle of nowhere.
