We loved the apartment. It is ideally situated and was perfect for our little dog. The area is really nice an peaceful. It was also easy to get downtown via the red line. Karen was a fantastic host. We appreciated all the little gestures and the fact that she had saved a parking spot for us upon our arrival. We would come back anytime.

Awesome place to stay. It was very clean and in a perfect place to explore the city. Great restaurants right nearby but also close to train stops for easy access to other areas. TAIMS was always super responsive.

We had a wonderful stay at this Gold Coast apartment while my husband attended a work conference downtown. The location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from shops, restaurants, and everything we needed, yet it still felt quiet and safe. Despite what I’d read in some reviews, we experienced very minimal street noise— maybe twice a car passing by with a loud radio, but nothing disruptive at all or worth getting ear plugs over. The apartment itself was spotless, well-stocked with personal essentials, and the perfect size for our small family. It was cozy, comfortable, and felt like a home away from home. Our host was incredibly responsive—by far the most communicative and thoughtful host I’ve ever had on AirBnB. You can really tell he cares about his guests’ comfort and experience. 5 stars from us—we’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chicago!

My two kids and I had a wonderful time at Susan’s Airbnb! It was steps from the pristine private beach. The only downside is the sheer number of stairs to get to the Airbnb. I am a VERY physically fit single parent, but it was truly exhausting loading and unloading. I dreaded loading up the last day!! Ideally you’d have two able bodied adults, then you’d be fine. However the bright side of that is the proximity to the beach! We even had campfires on the beach - steps from our stay! Also, if my young children (6&9) forgot something they could easily go on their own and retrieve said item(s). Overall 5 stars and I’d love to return! Great hosts and wonderful stay.

Perfect location for football weekend with spacious and clean rooms, snacks, and easy Parking. Host is wonderful and communicative 10/10 would stay again.

A must stay if you have an event in downtown South Bend. Super clean and easy to access unit with parking. Both bedrooms are clean, and Tim is an accommodating host.

Beautiful historic large apartment with large kitchen, comfy beds, and nice hot showers in lovely Hyde Park. Well outfitted kitchen with plenty of cups, glasses, plates, and bowls. Nice large dining room table that accommodates 8 people and very large sectional in living room. Very clean. A perfect place to stay while visiting Chicago for work with a team.

A great place to stay for a family to explore downtown Chicago. The location is convenient, with easy access to major attractions, and restaurants. The home was clean, cozy, and well-equipped — we truly felt like we were at our own home. The host was responsive and thoughtful, which made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable, safe, roomy, and quiet house and location with good street parking, even in the late afternoon and evening! Great amount of closet and floor space to unpack for 4 adults and 1 child for 3 nights. Body wash and shampoo was provided, along with having nice kitchen supplies, umbrellas for use and extra towels. We used the dishwasher and laundry during our stay and detergents were provided. Nice touches! Just note the staircase to enter the home and the kitchen and laundry are set up for a much taller person than our 5’ family haha but there is a step stool that we used for the microwave, reaching plates, and doing laundry. This was a great location for a UChicago family event; we weren’t able to walk to campus due to needing to haul all the gear and child, so I knew we’d be driving to and from campus daily. I was initially concerned about finding parking at the house but it was never an issue and that is definitely a perk of this location!

Michael’s apartment was clean, convenient, and cozy. We enjoyed a 4-night family vacation staying here. We were able to walk to some really delicious restaurants and the parking in the back of the building made it easy to visit other parts of the city. All of Michael’s instructions were timely, accurate, and clear. We would definitely stay here again if we returned to Chicago!

Really comfortable sweet accommodations... great for friends wanting to gather for get away per space and ... also privacy per down time when desired. love the porches sitting area, and the out deck even though not utilized. this would be great relaxing place if you want to not be busy...

A great neighborhood location, and a lovely quiet home that is extremely cozy and clean. A very comfortable, relaxed experience. Michelle was a great host and very responsive. We will be back.

I was there with 2 friends for a guys weekend and a Saturday Cubs game. The stadium was walkable and Terry was great. We had a small hiccup when checking in but was completely my fault. Terry was home and helped us get in. For what we needed it was perfect.

It was great. Just like the listing, highly recommended.

Let me just say, the pictures don’t do this cute, cozy place justice! I’m big on hospitality and customer service, and Johana and Akos were beyond accommodating and communicative. I would dare to say this is the most accommodating place I’ve experienced so far! The space has such a good energy and flow to it — cozy, inviting, and with a beautiful sunset view from the kitchen window that you can enjoy right from the living room sofa. The views are stunning, and the building itself is upscale, clean, and even smells great! I enjoy playing some of the games that were pervaded( Uno and Jenga) and I appreciated that the TVs had all the apps, HBO, Disney, prime, Netflix etc. It’s in a great location, and I felt very safe throughout my stay. The only con would be some city noise, but it didn’t bother me at all. There’s a nearby train that doesn’t pass often, and again, it wasn’t an issue for me. I would definitely recommend this place!!

I booked this Air BNB for my girlfriend's birthday weekend and my surprise proposal! Ashlee was very responsive, super helpful, just an overall great host! She went out of her way to decorate the master bedroom for me with rose petals, tea lights, champagne and all! There were snacks in the kitchen, the place was clean and tidy, our group really felt at home! The vibes were everything, and so were the VIEWS from the rooftop!!!! Thank you Ashlee!!

What a great stay! The boat was even better. He was immediately responsive and accommodated extra when caught in a pinch. He was very communicative and helpful. The place was very comfortable for both us and the dogs. It felt like home! Would recommend to anyone.

Avantika’s penthouse apartment was absolutely lovely. The space was comfortable and well-designed, with beautiful bedrooms and impeccably clean bathrooms. The kitchen was modern, spacious, and had everything we needed. Avantika was incredibly kind, helpful, and very responsive throughout our stay. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be back!

Super cute space! Very clean. The host responds super fast and was really kind! The futons aren’t great for 4 adults but that’s kind of expected with futons. My group had a nice stay here.
