Ferienunterkünfte mit Pool in Inyo County

Our stay was very pleasant. The other guests we brought along were very impressed by the spacious home, asking if we had the whole space to ourselves. Yes, we had the whole space to ourselves. We prepared in advance and brought steaks to grill (gas grill), as well as using the oven for baked potatoes. Along our way, we had conversations with people we met to be sure to go into Beatty, about 25-30 minutes away, for the ice cream, and the nut and candy store (Eddie World). We did. It was a fun excursion for some homemade ice cream. Upon reading about this place, it was noted that this is an organic farm, housing chickens and growing fields. This would be a great place to stargaze with a clear sky. The one night we stayed did not afford us that view. I would definitely stay here again.

This place is just as described and looks just like the photos. You will feel immersed in nature, you can hear the water stream all day, surrounded by large trees, secluded. The walk/hike up to the waterfall is nice, and scenic, it is also a great spot for fishing. The place was clean and has everything you need; it is great for a relaxing weekend away from society. Instructions and manual were clear. Unfortunately, we did not get a key to the place which I would have preferred for safety purposes. I do suggest getting food and groceries before going up the mountain and planning for no reception going up the mountain. Overall, I recommend this place, we are considering booking again as this works as a mid-point between LA and northCal for a weekend getaway. Carolyn was a good responsive host and I appreciate her list of recommendations.

Pete was such an incredible host! My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely be coming back. It is so peaceful and so quiet. We saw a few deer and lots of little animals in the surrounding area. The trees are beautiful and the air is so fresh and crisp. There’s so much to do in the house with dozens of board games, a bunch of movies and shows on dvd, a gaming console, fire place was so cozy, the hot tub was easy to work and was a great way to wind down our day! Definitely take advantage of the local sites like Trail of 100 Giants. The local market is adorable and everyone is so friendly. Looking forward to staying again soon!

Beautiful and magical gem in the middle of the dessert. The kids loved the pool and the adults too!! Breathtaking dessert views and air and comfortable seating on the deck to watch the sunset by the fire pit.

My husband and I stayed at Paula’s to visit Death Valley National Park. Her place was a perfect location - easy to get to the park, and a great spot in town itself (close to grocery stores, gas, etc.). Paula has truly thought of EVERYTHING. The space was so clean, spacious, and had pretty much every amenity you could possibly think of. Both the inside and outside have plenty of games and activities, and the entire atmosphere was so relaxing. Paula was also incredibly helpful and responsive. We were wildly impressed, and would stay here again in a heartbeat. A massive thank you to Paula and Mitch!!

We had a comfortable stay in the Airstream while traveling through the southern Sierra. Kendra was responsive and helpful. The campground porta-potty bathrooms were clean and there were flush toilets and sinks at the restaurant down the trail. Nice no-frills accommodations along the PCT, so a lot of activity at this time of year with thru-hikers.

My family had a great time staying here for our trip to Death Valley National Park. We arrived past 8pm from a long drive from San Diego. It was pleasant to arrive at the place all warmed up already. Our daughter loved her little bunk bed and had no problem falling asleep after we arrived. We got up the next morning to catch the sunrise at Death Valley NP and didnt come back until the evening around 9pm. Despite not being at the retreat majority of our stay, it met our basic needs for comfort: kitchen, heater, beds, clean bathroom. We explored the grounds briefly Sunday morning before driving back home. It was a beautiful place. We had breakfast before driving back home at the Crowbar. Delicious food and the staff was so sweet. Overall fantastic place to stay!
