Simply beautiful, clean and lovely house. Also Eira was helpful and a great down to earth host. House has everything and also is at great locality. Llandudno pier is just 5mins drive. Plus lidl is just 2-3 walks and Morrison is 4mins drive from this place. Henceforth this will be my default place to stay at North Wales and also would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to explore north wales and need a beautiful peaceful place to stay with no negative points :) Thanks again Eira. An excellent few nights at this wonderful home. All we needed for a few relaxing nights away and a trip to Alton towers ! Pictures don’t do it justice, it is wonderful. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

The house is a beautifully kept home from home. It had everything needed and plenty of space for families. It’s only a short drive to Castleblayney. Bernard is very responsive from booking to check out and he made the visit very stress free with providing exact information needed. A lovely welcome pack was also provided on arrival. Excellent accomodation all round.

This is a great place. We could’ve done with longer - struck gold with the weather so didn’t use the leisure facilities as much as we might have. Really well placed for visiting Keswick and Penrith. Whinlatter Forest took us about 30 mins to get to - great for walks, bikes, cafe.

The Scrumpy Hut was very comfortable, warm, clean and cosy. The kitchenette was well kitted out, our first time using an air fryer but was great! The hut has lovely private views of Sugar Loaf and Skirrid all from the luxury of an outdoor bath! A few days without telly was a dream and searching through the puzzles and games provided was very wholesome ...breakfast basket was delicious too. Our kids loved their bedroom and playing with Scrumpy that dog, they didn't want to leave!

Great host! Amazing place and great view. We needed a private, relaxing getaway and this place was just right. We enjoyed the local attractions and loved every bit of the place. House was neat and Dave was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended!!

We had the best stay here, the lodge was beautiful and had even better views. We loved every morning looking out at the views through the window above the bed. It had everything we needed and the guide was very helpful for local pubs and taxi information. Loved the selection of DVDs as well. We will be back!

We were two families having a get-together from Northern and Southern England, for the Easter weekend! What a lovely house and location for a great weekend! Bryony (the host) was very fast at communicating and the house is very well equipped with everything you need! A highly recommended place to stay!
