Historic year-round cabin along lakeshore w/dock

The lake home was built in the early 1930's to house the engineers constructing the entire TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) system that created dams and hydro-electric power throughout the region. It also provided jobs that helped with employment during the Great Depression. A wonderful addition we made recently was a dock, which remains in the water from sometime in March until late October. Please note this is an old, quaint home. It has its quirks.

The Lake Escape sits near the Emory River providing a great place for boating, fishing, swimming, or relaxing on the wrap around deck. There is a public area with boat ramp about 1 mile away. Here we have a rustic theme to welcome any family or group of friends and help create some of your best memories. Included we have washer/dryer combo, built in bar, and fire pit. This is a well appointed delightful, completely and comfortably furnished SMOKEFREE 2 bedroom, one bath apartment located on the ground floor of our house. The surroundings include over an acre of thickly wooded area with ample parking for both cars and boats. About one half mile down the road is the very upscale Twin Cove marina. We do not allow animals.
