The Spruce Nest

Stay in a historic home in Old Town Steamboat Springs built 1907. We have added an entry, dining room, master bedroom and bath and powder bath. However, we have kept the original two-story home in tact, similar to the early 1900's. We even used original wood from the walls to accent the exterior. The Wernig family built Wit’s End Lodge in 1999. After years of building custom log homes Bill and his family decided it was time to build their own. It’s been a ski lodge to many friends and family from around the world over the years. The lodge has panoramic views of Steamboat Ski Resort, Old Town and Sleeping Giant. Ski Chalet on an acre!

Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located cozy home. You can walk to the Steamboat Ski Resort Village in 10min. or there is a shuttle about 2 blocks from our house. This is a cozy home with 4 bedrooms and 2 lofts and 3 bathrooms. (We have a second unit available as well with an additional 1 bedroom / 1 bath and 1 loft and kitchen for an additional fee / night).

Hunters and Anglers Haven. Nice family get away. Two levels with 5 spacious bedrooms. Nice upper living area including Kitchen, dinning area, living room, laundry room, attached garage. Beautiful back covered patio. BBQ grill in garage. Public swimming pool behind house. Beautiful views that include visitors such as moose and deer.
