The location is wonderful. You can see the Nelson Atkins museum grounds from the East-facing windows. Loved the TV in the bedroom too.

This was our 2nd time to stay at Jeffery and Kim’s AirBnB. It was Very comfortable and in a peaceful neighborhood. It’s a convenient place to stay if your activities are near Lees Summit.

Jake’s place is an absolute gem- we fell in love with the exposed brick, plants, and in-floor lighting. The shower was AMAZING- huge, hot, deluge of water and steam. The kitchen was well-appointed with all the essentials, plus some Michelob Lights. We were impressed with the architecture of the historic building, and Jake said he had restored the interior himself- pulling horse-hair plaster off the walls! Also notable- I guess this is KC hospitality at its finest- Jake told us to leave the dishes, linens, etc, as they were- that he would take care of all of it. It was really nice to receive that level of service, which is unusual for my Airbnb experiences.

Kristen was very responsive & helpful. The loft was clean and exactly where we needed to be for the wedding we were in town for. The stairs up were a bit challenging for some of the older guests with us.

Jeffery and Kim's place was exactly as described and met our family's needs to a T! Very grateful for their hospitality and amenities provided.

On the day of check-in, the host contacted us about a maintenance issue with this property and promptly switched us to another listing they had available (this situation was made as painless as possible by the team!). Because of that, this review isn’t about this Airbnb in particular, but rather about the host and their incredible service. I was staying in town for 10 days following a major surgery, and Lance and his team went above and beyond to make sure that we had what we needed. For example, we had initially booked this property because the shower head would be accessible for me as I tried to strike the balance of post-op dignity and hygiene. 😅 The listing we were moved to did not have the same features, so the team sent out a maintenance person the same day to make the bathroom accessible for me. Words can’t capture how much that meant to me! The team was responsive throughout our stay and made great efforts to ensure we had a positive experience. Highly recommend booking a stay

I had a great stay. Parking and entry were both very easy. It was a great location for me because I was going back and forth between KC and Overland Park for events in both places. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This upstairs apartment met all of our needs and was comfortable. We loved the convenience of being close to so many dining and entertainment options.

Melanie is a great host. Easy to communicate and always ready to help. She is awesome! The place is great for short and long term stays. It comes with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Location is good, easy access to main roads. Stores, markets and restaurants are near by. Neighborhood is safe, no concerns or issues. Assigned parking spot, washer/dryer, 2 floor unit with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, and a patio to chill makes this place great. I enjoyed staying here and recommend to anyone looking for a place in KC.

The location is perfect for most anything in the Overland Park & Kansas City area with nearby access to the major routes for the area. I would stay here again just for the excellent location! The exterior of surrounding buildings are definitely showing their age & could use some help, but the inside of this unit has been updated and is obviously maintained. It didn't matter to us, but I wasn't clearly understanding from the listing that there is a coded door to enter on ground level and then a flight of stairs up to the apartment. At the top of those stairs are two doors-one to this unit and one to a neighboring unit. As another guest mentioned, the neighbors have personal belongings outside of their door. Additionally, there is another flight of stairs inside the apartment to get to the master bed/bath. We enjoyed our stay and found the unit well-furnished and with tasteful decor. The guest contact responded timely to questions.

Bliss. The pretty street, lush with mature trees, sets the vibe. The entry instructions are clear and easy. The apartment is welcoming and has great flow. The thing that elevates it, though, is Adam, the host. I had to get out of an alternate situation in a hurry on a blistering hot day. Adam initially mentioned that once the AC got up to speed, I'd be golden. But as an afterthought he traveled to the apartment and turned it full blast himself. That, my friends, is top notch hosting. Between that and his thoughtful and prompt responses (with diagrams!) I quickly got the feeling I was staying in the home of an old friend, though of course I have never met the gent. This is hosting as only the gods can do it. Thanks Adam.

Good location and easy to find. On the third floor so if you are not able to use the stairs it might not be a good fit for you.
