I loved this apartment. It is located in a vibrant and interesting neighborhood with so much to see. There is a market right next door for groceries and a ton of fantastic restaurants, bars , street vendors , book stores etc. There is everything you need as far as clean linens and towels , everything you need to cook, good Internet, and it's so comfortable and eclectic and homey. It's in the heart of Kadıköy but close to the ferry , train , and busses so it's easy to get anywhere else. Everyone was so hospitable and kind in this neighborhood. As a solo female traveler I felt safe and comfortable. Anytime I am back in İstanbul this is where I'll stay!

Ece was an exceptional host, and our stay in her place was fantastic! The apartment was conveniently located in a vibrant and secure neighborhood of Kadikoy, with plenty of great restaurants and nightlife options within walking distance. Ece was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to experience the lively side of Istanbul!

Çok keyifli bir ev konum dekor estetiği çok iyiydi

Het huis van Gülay voelde als een tweede thuis. Naast het feit dat het appartement keurig schoon was, was ik blij verrast door alle extra’s: thee, suiker, wattenschijfjes, afwasmiddel, schoonmaakproducten. Erg attent! :) Het contact verliep ook prima. Ik kwam aan op een dag dat er bepaalde straten afgesloten waren. Co-host Ilgın stuurde mij meteen een lijstje voor de taxichauffeur. Dat geeft een veilig en welkom gevoel. Voor degenen die de buurt niet kennen: twijfel niet, je zult je er prima vermaken. Ik kom zelf ook graag nog eens! Ik beveel het huisje van Gülay van harte aan!

Cem (a very talented musician) and his family (somehow all of them seem to be artists of some kind and their art is everywhere in, on, and around this building) are super kind and welcoming, and they are preserving this architectural gem of a building form the 1960ties against all odds and without government support! Staying at this historic building with lots of original features, helps them to do so and surely will make you part of an ever growing group of people who love this place where you feel like time travelling and being at a cosy home away from home. The location is fantastic, stores and restaurants are to be found just around the corner, as well as taxi stands and bus stations. It's only a few steps to the wonderful Fehnerbace park and marina and you can walk, run, or dance along the beautiful green shorelines all the way to Moda park to the right or via Caddebostan to Suadiye and all the way to Bostanci (there you can ride on an old school flying chain chair carrousel).

Sercan is a very responsive and helpful host. The place was perfectly clean and I could access all the necessary information I needed before + after the check-in. I would totally want to stay here again if I come back to Istanbul. I think it would be great to rent his apartment in spring/summer time too, since it comes with a nice little garden.

Host Kevser and her team Yeliz were extremely helpful and always reachable. They provided clear instructions, local and useful information and provided additional equipment when requested. The flat was in pristine condition with a great set up and tastefully furnished. The extremely comfortable sofa which turns into a great bed did come in handy. The flat is situated in a very safe and convenient location. A short and pleasant walk takes you to the Bosphorus with a great selection of shops and restaurants only a a few metres away. Highly recommended for couples or small families who would like to explore Istanbul while staying in a very nice apartment with a wholesome host away from the busy high streets but easily able to reach all areas of the city.

Разположението също беше перфектно - близо до всички основни забележителности и удобства. Гостоприемството на домакините беше на високо ниво, те бяха много любезни и отзивчиви. Определено препоръчвам този апартамент на всеки, който търси комфорт и уют по време на престоя си!"

Hazar was very prompt with communication and very helpful. Very friendly host and happy to assist with any issues The location of the apartment was perfect being walking distance to both the ferry terminal and Moda. Definitely felt safe in the area too Overall a great experience and will definitely book it again

Très jolie appartement dans un quartier calme. Proche de toute commodités restaurant magazin le train etc.. appartement très propre . Hôte très attentionné et toujours disponibles.

A very nice stay in a spacious, newly renovated and clean apartment, right near the boğa heykeli, the heart of Kadiköys streets, Yeldeğirmeni and Moda seaside. A very friendly, responsive and helpful host. Don't wait on this one!

Celal's apartment was very clean with all basic amenities and services. They offered us to and fro cab service for airport. They were present to receive us. also helped us carry our bags to the apartment and also while leaving the apartment. They were responsive and brought us another lighter for the stove when asked for. They also treated us with Turkish delights and a nice souvenir. They were very friendly and showed affection to our 8 months old baby. The apartment's location is also good and tram/bus stops are nearby. Just keep in mind that Istanbul is a bit hilly so walking uphill for the tram stop with a baby can be tricky. Overall a very good experience. P.S. The location which is shown in the app and the actual location of the apartment is a bit different, although they escort you to the actual location themselves. But in the description of this listing they don't mention that the apartment is on the 4th floor with no lift. So, people with baby or old age can have problem.

We stayed as a family of four, travelling with two young children. The host and his uncle were very organised with our request for them to arrange a taxi transfer from the airport with a child car seat installed, and checked the details with us a week before our arrival. We were personally welcomed and greeted at the door by uncle despite a late arrival around 9-10pm in the evening, and he helped us carry our many bags up to the 5th floor via the lift. The property is located on a hill, so we appreciated the transfer directly to the front door. The apartment was modern, spacious and well equipped with all of the necessary amenities, and they even organised a change of linen, towels and cleaning of the apartment during our stay for no extra cost. Our children especially loved the playground nearby at the bottom of the street. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Great comfortable apartment with wonderful view. Many restaurants close by yet also with a local feel. Much preferable than staying between hippodrome and water as that area is totally overrun with tourists. This area is very comfortable for tourists but a much better balance. For kids, really close to playgrounds. Only consideration would be the third floor but this is beneficial for exercise. Will book again.

Wonderful view! The apartment is very big and includes modern amenities and a luxurious standard. Contact with the host was very pleasant. Looking forward to staying again in the future

Wir waren für eine Woche Gäste in dieser außergewöhnlichen Wohnung und haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist zentral in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Galata Turm und bietet fantastische Ausblicke über die Stadt, sowohl tagsüber als auch Nachts. Ein großes Danke an Neriman für die Taxi Arrangements bei unserer An- und Abreise, sowie die Restauranttipps! Wichtig zu wissen: die Wohnung befindet sich im 5. Stock eines historischen Hauses. Es gibt dort keinen Aufzug, was für uns kein Problem war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

A Dreamy Stay with Unforgettable Views! This apartment was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Istanbul! The floor-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen/living area opened up to a patio with incredible views of the Bosphorus. You could spend hours just watching the maritime activity, birds and pods of dolphins! The apartment is super comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including an excellent coffee machine and a great selection of teas. The beds were cozy, and my son especially loved the jacuzzi tub — a big hit after long days of sightseeing. The neighborhood was fantastic: full of cool coffee shops, stylish clothing stores, and a creative vibe. It felt very local, hip, and fun. We also appreciated how convenient it was — only a 10-minute walk to the tram, metro, and ferry, so getting around the city was easy. I can’t recommend this place enough.
