No required interaction unless you require something or would like some local knowledge on things to do. Our place is located in the heart of the beautiful Taurikura Bay only a stone throw from the waters edge with views of the bay. We are surrounded by beautiful bush walking trails suitable for all levels of fitness & beautiful beaches to choose from.

Bikes & kayaks for you to explore the area. Located 5 min from the beach and world renowned hiking trails, beaches, fishing, surfing - the list goes on.

Kickback and relax in this stylish space with stunning views over Bream Head from your deck. This private studio is the perfect spot for a getaway! You'll enjoy a comfortable queen-size bed, a lovely seating area (inside + outside), bright bathroom and a small pantry. We have fast wifi, but no television. Located 1 minute from Little Munro Bay, where kayaks and boats can be launched. World renowned hiking trails are on your doorstep like Mt Manaia, Mt. Aubrey and the Te Araroa Trail.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Modern spacious self contained studio with its own private entrance. 5 minutes from the Town Basin; a perfect base for exploring Whangarei. Upstairs bedroom with queen & single beds. Some breakfast essentials such as milk, spreads, muesli, various teas & coffee facilities as a starter only. Freeview TV and Netflixs. Off street parking for one vehicle.

We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.
