Relaxing Tropical Retreat close to Kailua Kona

The Kona Palm Retreat is a private villa that’s a 5-minute drive from Kailua Kona town. The accommodation is private and well appointed. You have your own completely furnished apartment with its own tropical gardens and outdoor seating. There are no shared spaces. Monica and I live upstairs, we rarely see our guests and we respect our guests privacy. Our accommodations are very clean and well furnished, the Hot tub and BBQ area are only for you and your guests and are not shared.

Carson's Kaloko Mountain Cabin

This rustic and cozy cabin sits on our 5 acre parcel in the cloud forest above Kona town on the Big Island, called Kaloko Mauka. It has it's own private little corner of the property, complete with secluded hot tub, yard and large lanai perfect for the bbq! One king bed in the studio, best for 2-3 adults. Loft can suit a child or two 8 years and older or another adult. There is a fold out futon with extra bedding and pillows. Loft railing is not completely protected for children under 8.

This is real Hawaii (except we have fast reliable Wi Fi). Located at 900 ft. elevation, 4 miles to the center of town where there are many restaurants to choose from and just minutes to the nearest beach where the sea turtles are sunning themselves on the shore. This is on one acre in Kona's safest and most desirable neighborhoods. It is the downstairs of a large home where I live quietly upstairs. You share nothing, the pool and spa are yours exclusively while you are here.

We live at a cooler elevation of 1000 feet with pleasant tropical breezes. Our property is on 1.5 acres of tropical landscaping. Ocean views abound, perfect for sunset watching and seeing real-time surf conditions. In the evenings enjoy stargazing and the sounds of the tropics.

Our location is ideal for those who want to explore all that the island has to offer or those who are simply looking for a convenient night's stay before or after the airport. We are ten minutes from the airport and 15 minutes from Kona. We are a young family (you will likely hear us :) who love to explore and are happy to share our home.

Sweeping ocean views with cool tropical breezes at 1,000 ft. elevation. Kitchen is fully supplied. This is a smoke fee environment for your enjoyment. Sorry no pets. Guest are required to sign a rental agreement for documentation. We will be sending it through your email.
