My family and I had a wonderful visit to Suann's house! My husband, daughter and I (Virginia) met my parents (Illinois) to celebrate Easter and spend a week together. We arrived to a beautifully set table for the occasion with other Easter decor throughout the home. My 3 yo LOVED all the games, puzzles, and coloring in the basement, and spent a great deal of time down there. We enjoyed warm weather, and had a little pool for her to splash in on the deck, the trains beyond the river were a nice addition, bringing me back to the trains that ran in the distance as a child. We even had 2 go by in the front, we were excited for that! The nextdoor neighbors are very nice, we enjoyed chatting with them. There are several roadside waterfalls, Hawk's Nest State Park was a great place to have a bite and see some views. I would 100% stay again, we had a lovely time and felt right at home. I left a few items behind and Suann is kind enough to offer to mail them back. So nice!

We had a wonderful stay with family for Easter weekend the house was beautiful and the kitchen had everything we needed to make a big Easter dinner! We will be back!

Tammy’s place was perfect for our large group! She was very responsive and flexible with our many requests. We would definitely stay there again!

The house fit our family’s needs perfectly. It was safe for the kids to play in and had plenty of space. The highlight was the room my kids slept in. They loved the swing and bunk beds!

Home was very nice and clean, Had a beautiful deck & A Spacious layout so you werent on top of eachother. If you are looking to ride Outlaw trails, this home is in a good location. We did trailer to ivy branch trail head and to rock house trail head HFM. If you are looking to ride buffalo, devils anse, rockhouse its about 55 minutes truck ride to their trail head. This was our first time. Host was very nice & super responsive. The listing stated 2 queen size beds & 2 twin size beds upon arrival there was 1 queen bed & 4 twin beds. Beds were all super comfy & so was the furniture in the home. Would book this house again if we wanted to do out law trails.

Dave created an environment that makes guests feel immediately comfortable and at ease. Dave the Super Host was very knowledgeable about the location, amenities, and services, and able to provide helpful recommendations. Dave and his son was very Positive and Professional.

We really enjoyed our stay! Jim was very accommodating; as we booked and arrived very late at night. We did have to switch the unit we initially reserved since ours wasn’t ready; but Jim was extremely communicative and it all worked out fine. The apartment was clean and has all of the amenities you need. It is in a great location - beautiful river views and super close to the national park as well as food and grocery stores. Getting there: Be sure to follow Jim’s directions. Google maps will send you to the wrong house on the street. Also if you arrive at night, just know it’s VERY dark. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our family was in the area to ride Hatfield McCoy’s Ivy Branch Trail System and this house was perfect for our family of 8, but could sleep 12! Lots of room for parking several trucks with trailers. Bub was very fast to answer when we had a question. We would stay again if in the area!

The place was easy to find with lots of parking for trailers and toys. It had easy access to the Ivy Branch trails and it's located about 30 minutes from the new Tornado trailhead. We had a great time staying there and would come back again.

Liz was an awesome host took us on an awesome tour of Sanderson mtn it was alot of fun we did a little storm chasing on Sunday (not by choice lol) definitely will be back!!

The cabin was absolutely beautiful and well kept. There were a lot of memorabilia related to the history of the cabin and farm. Hands down favorite part was the giant screened in porch with fireplace and hot tub. We even bought an air mattress to "camp out" one night on the porch. Best sleep I've had in years! Like every place in WV, it's a bit off the main roads, but that's the appeal. No traffic to contend with and quiet relaxation. Even with the drive, groceries and some restaurants are only about 20 min away. Would definitely go back.

We stayed at Bit of Heaven for the weekend with our children while our eldest child received an award at the local university. Charles’ home was even better than we expected. It was immaculate, private, and cozy with great river views. The accommodations were superb and had everything we needed including comfortable beds and little hospitable touches throughout. Charles was communicative and readily available for anything we may have needed, which we truly didn’t because of how clearly laid out his guide is. We will absolutely stay again! Thanks for having us Charles!

The cabin was immaculate. Very private and quiet. Tyler was very communicative and check in was so easy.

God bless Liz with a wonderful place and idea s to bring tourists to her community, a humble lovely Quick community in WV. She goes beyond, working hard girl that put everything into her passion. You not only rest, retreat and enjoy the beauty of the mountains but she makes sure you actually build memories! 100% recommend it. 💘

great host always makes you feel welcomed

The cabin is perfect with many unexpected extras to make staying there a great experience. The only thing that could have added to our days would have been walking trails. other than that the experience was top notch.
