Five gf’s getting away for a weekend…Danielle was very easy to work with. The house was great. Plenty of room. A large beautiful dining table and great room overlooking the lake. The view was beautiful. The cottage is surrounded by some older homes but Danielle’s has been updated very nicely and it was very peaceful. Plenty of parking. The house was clean. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning in the future.

It was the perfect place for a weekend in Grand Rapids- you had your own private little house to stay while only being a short 10min drive to the heart of GR! The place looks just like the pictures, and was super cozy! They were even so kind to decorate with some balloons as they knew we were coming for my birthday! Ty was great communicating the week prior to our stay so it made our arrival and check in smooth on the day of.

We feel so fortunate to have found this beautiful home, spacious enough for our kids, their spouses and our grandchildren! The kitchen is so well stocked with not only everything you’ll need for cooking, but also with spices and condiments! We will not hesitate to book this home again! Ben was so responsive to my questions and his communication was great! No complaints about this beautiful rental!

Very pleased with the experience. We had a fantastic weekend.

This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

We stayed at John and Frank’s beautiful lake house while our home was being renovated, and it was an absolute delight! The house is spacious, cozy, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The frozen lake created a stunning winter backdrop, making the experience even more magical. John and Frank were fantastic hosts—responsive, friendly, and thoughtful. They made sure we had everything we needed and even left some local recommendations that we truly appreciated. The house itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had a warm, inviting atmosphere. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with breathtaking views and excellent hospitality, this is the place to be. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lakeside escape, no matter the season!

What a wonderful lakeside stay!! Clean home free of clutter, very well-equipped for our family, and in close proximity to all the fun in Grand Rapids without the bustle of the city. We would gladly return!
