Sanjarah Cottage is a delight. It is a wonderfully designed space set in a lush garden, with two en-suite double bedrooms, a gorgeous swimming pool and a long veranda with dreamy day beds. The open plan living room and very well equipped kitchen, offers a great place to chill and the cottage is fully staffed. It’s an easy 20 min walk to the beach and a few minutes to the creek. Kasuku House sits on the edge of Watamu’s stunning Mida Creek, surrounded by tranquil mangroves and alive with birdsong. One of only a few houses on the creek, it offers incredible views of the legendary sunsets. I have travelled and lived all over the world, in many beautiful places, but there is nowhere that I would rather be than sitting on my amazing roof top looking over the mangroves towards Tsavo national park or relaxing by my wonderful pool.
