we discussed over the phone that our reason for visiting was to get away for my sons birthday and they remembered that. They checked on us every day. They were very good host.

absolutely wonderful and matched the description, directions to the property were clear. sitting on the balcony listening to the wild life is beautiful. The apartment is beautifully maintained and thoughtfully done. Definitely recommend. wonderful location just outside of town! can't wait to be back, hopefully when the skies are clearer.

This is our second year and we love the place. It has everything we need for a family vacation. The home is beautiful with so many amenities. The outdoor seating is great for us to get together and talk, laugh and have fun. The access to the private lake is great and my kids/grandkids can swim and play in peace without big crowds. There is so much shade, table and chairs. The canoes and kayaks are the icing!!!!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Tom’s place. From the moment we arrived, Tom was incredibly helpful, friendly, and communicative—always available if we had a question or needed anything. He was also very understanding and made us feel right at home. The home itself was peaceful, quiet, and spotless. Everything was thoughtfully stocked and well-equipped—whatever we needed, Tom had it covered. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some great meals, and we slept incredibly well each night. One of the highlights was the beautiful river nearby—it really added to the relaxing atmosphere. I’ll absolutely be returning for years to come. Highly recommend!

A great getaway near the river! We appreciated all the extras that were included i.e. kayaks, floats, life vests, towels that we needed to enjoy the water. Everything was nicely labeled to help find items within the home. Plenty of items to cook meals. Highly recommend!

This place exceeded our expectations! The peace and quiet that we experienced was unmatched!! My family of four and our dog, enjoyed every moment and every part of the property. My kids were never inside!! Great place to decompress from daily life activities. Also, no phone or Internet service was tranquility for my wife and I. We'll definitely be coming back!!! We LOVED it so much that nobody wanted to leave!!! One of my favorite places that my family has been too. Don't forget to say hi to Frank!!

Mrs. Betty’s place was very peaceful and had beautiful surroundings. Her home is very cozy and welcoming . This is an older home so if you are looking for a newer built home this isn’t the place for you but the flowing water right off your backyard will be 100% worth the stay . Very private away from busy city life . Mrs Betty is on property but doesn’t come to our side unless YOU need her which she was very helpful and informative when we asked her questions on canoes that she provides . My family loved staying here and will be returning!

Our third stay here. We love the privacy and view. We did miss the antelope and goats this time. Guess they didn’t want to play. Fire pit was ready to go and we enjoyed the Pink Moon. A must stay. Jake is a great host and is very responsive. Enjoy

Gracie place is comfy, cozy, peaceful spot to visit Texas Hill country and specifically Kerrville. Lots to do there and the towns around. She's very attentive to guests. We really enjoy staying here. Sitting out back over the river is so nice.
