Ferienunterkünfte in Kitakatsuragi District

We had a lovely stay - Jerome and Hanako made us feel very welcome and the house and garden are lovely and very well maintained. Jerome was happy to give us a tour of the garden too! You have really good access to Nara via the buses, and there are some good food options a 15 minute walk away. It's worth mentioning that the house is kept with Japanese rules and has some delicate items (like Japanese paper screens and antique furniture) - these all add to the atmosphere of what is a lovely house, but it's worth thinking about if you have children. We had our 9 and 10 year olds with us, and they (with some guidance from us) we able to keep to the rules, but I think it might have been more of a challenge with younger children. All in all a great stay - we were really glad we stopped here as part of our travels in Japan!

small but tidy apartment close to nature and some historical sites include kashihara jingu and several 5th century kofun which u can ride the bicycle to explore. both bed and floor are very clean. quick response. grocery store and convenience store not too far away once u figured out the direction. tiny bathroom+toilet and be careful with the old style hot water tap. some distant away seems to be a beer warehouse so there would be some noise loading stuff

An ideal place to stay if you want to visit Horyuji temple. The house is located in a walking distance from the temple and there are shops and restaurants around it. The host also runs a tourist information centre(literally next door) and you can get whatever info you many need as a tourist. My family loved the house and would like to stay here once again. Thank you for the great hospitality!

Shintaro was above and beyond on any expectations we had. Him and his whole fam went out of their way to help us. They met us at the train station to show us to our stay. They gave us a welcome package of snacks as well. Then after giving us a tour, helped us get a broken phone situation fixed. They gave us a ride to the mall and helped us at the mall to find a store to get a new phone in. Then they even gave us a ride to Nara park. We would never get such generosity in the states. They truly did an amazing job making us feel welcome and the help was greatly appreciated. The house itself is roomy, comfortable, clean and nice. If I could give them a higher rating I would. I hope to be back one day

Chiaki’s place was such a wonderful stay. We chose this property for a break from the busy city and that’s exactly what we got. Conveniently located only a 30 minute train ride to Nara station and with local restaurants and coffee nearby, it was great for our group of 9. The house itself was beautifully and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style but with an updated and modern twist. The beds were comfortable and we appreciated the lovely linen sheets. I would be happy to recommend this stay to others.
