The Cottage on Aspen

Newly remodeled exterior. 500 square feet covered deck. Free wifi. Nestled in the middle of 20 wooded acres, The Cottage on Aspen is a rustic home with modern amenities. Sleeps up to 9 (linens included), with 3 bedrooms and two full baths. A master suite offers a king size bed with full en-suite. A tiled walk-in shower is included. The 2nd bedroom offers a full size bed, and the 3rd includes a bunk-bed, full on bottom, twin on top. A sleeper sofa in living area, large screen tv, spectrum wifi.

Updates include new custom kitchen with concrete counters and stainless steel appliances, new bathroom with walk in shower. Cozy 2 bedroom home is located directly on the Kokosing river thought to translate from the Algonquin Indians and mean “River of the Little Owls.” The cabin is a short distance to Kenyon College, Apple Valley lake, Ohio Amish country and tons and tons of great parks, hiking trails, bike trails and hunting. We are pet friendly (additional $50 per stay, maximum 2 pets).

Experience staying in a 200 year old barn! Barns are not just for animals! We tore down stalls and haylofts to create 30 ft ceilings for custom open floor plan living rm,dining, and custom hickory kitchen. Following barn imprint; the milkroom became a laundry room, 1st floor bedroom with private bath. The brick fireplace crackles and the French doors open to allow sounds of nature inside while you have your morning coffee. The 240 acres surrounding you takes stargazing to a new dimension.

"THE ROOST" Enjoy a unique barn stay!

Welcome to "The Roost", a renovated turkey brooder barn. This is a large, private retreat for 2-14 guests. It provides a unique experience due to the rustic backdrop and modern amenities. Wonderful country views of rolling pasture with grazing cattle, soft sounds of nature, a pond to explore and cast a line into, hiking trail through open woods and fire circle to gather around. It's a place of simple beauty and causes you to pause and ponder the goodness of creation!

Babble Brook Lodge and Private Pond

The Babble Brook Lodge is a large log home on 11 acres with a stocked pond only minutes from Mohican State Park. The lodge features a large covered porch overlooking the pond, a huge great room with a massive stone fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 6 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, loft sitting area, laundry room, satellite TV, high speed internet and air conditioning. A two car garage allows renters to park out of the weather.

Thank you for viewing our comfortable home in Gambier Ohio! Our house is on a quiet street near the Kenyon Athletic Center, Pierce Hall and the Kokosing Gap Trail. Honey Pine Lodge- Entire home sleeps 14 plus.

Our log home was built in 2008 by the Amish, with vaulted ceilings and a loft, outdoor decks, and a large front porch. We have many outdoor sitting areas, outdoor fireplace, and koi pond. Although we keep our home very clean we have pets, 2 dogs and several outdoor only cats. Friendly pets are welcome. We are welcoming to all travelers and enjoy opening our home to you.

Arrowhead Ridge off-grid cabin #1

This is our rustic cabin that was built during prohibition and was a moonshiners paradise. There is no electricity and is completely off grid. There is a solar shower, lamps and candles, an RV toilet, gas/charcoal grill, outdoor fireplace, fire ring, picnic table etc. There is a queen size futon inside cabin and a futon with two cots in the screen room.
