Book this place!! We had such a great time at the beach and in this Airbnb. Our group was comprised of 3 couples and 2 infants and we were so comfortable! We stayed for 4 nights and made all of our meals with ease - one of the best equipped kitchens I've stayed in. We loved the location, truly a 3-5 minute walk to the beach (depending on how much you're carrying!), and a great view of the Sound. The Airbnb was bigger than I expected and having 2.5 bathrooms was great for our group size. Highly recommend!!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at Marooned Five as a family of five and we all love it! Our 2 younger kids love the loft and my older kid loves the second bedroom to himself. It’s not easy finding room for everyone when we travel but we don’t have to worry about it when we stay at David and Kris’ place. The two golf carts give us flexibility to split up and we also love riding bikes on the island. Marooned Five comes with everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We have stayed here during the off season and prefer it but will also be back during the summer season. Some of our favorites to do here: climb Old Baldy, eat at Jules and Jailhouse, beach days, have a date sans kids at Bald Head Bottle, visit Turtle Central and complete their scavenger hunt around the island. We went to Sunday service at the Chapel and had breakfast afterwards at The Boathouse. We shopped at the Maritime shops and scheduled a guided kayak tour (that was canceled due to rain). But we’ll be back!

This place is amazing. When I have to stay at other places, I always hold them to Rob's standards and they hardly ever meet those. His place is clean and convenient. It's literally about 6 steps to the ocean. I think my favorite thing is the two decks facing the ocean. You could just sit there for hours and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of space to just hang out and chill. All that you would ever need in a kitchen, living room, and bedrooms. I straight up don't want to stay anywhere else but here. Thank you Rob for another perfect stay!

We had a fantastic week at Holden. The townhome was peaceful, comfortable, clean and so close to the beach. Dan was flexible with our plans and very friendly. He is a fantastic host. Would stay again! Highly recommended to all.

This is the 2nd consecutive year we’ve stayed here for our annual girls trip! We usually go to a different beach each year but we came back to Kure because we liked this house so much. I really can’t say enough good things about it. Super convenient to the beach so our group can come and go as they please. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and we feel very safe here. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook. There are a couple of restaurants within walking distance but this year we drove 10 minutes to Carolina Beach which was also very easy and convenient. Michelle is very communicative and responsive. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Rachel’s place was the best! We loved the location and it fit our group nicely. Highly recommend for your next trip to WB

Robyn’s place was everything we asked for and needed for our yearly family vacation to Kure beach. The place was very clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Being steps away from the ocean made this stay so special. The balcony upstairs was a wonderful bonus for early morning coffee and watching sunsets. Thanks again Robyn for sharing your place with us.

This was even nicer than what was advertised. Beautiful, clean, fully stocked and the host was so helpful. We had to plan a surprise and she helped us with recommendations since we were not from the area and allowed us to check in earlier to help with our plans. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

This is our third year at the House of Kai, we love this spot! Perfect for a beach trip with two young kids. There is so much to do - the boardwalk, Sunny Days BBQ with oceanfront views, Good Hops Brewery, renting bikes from Tong Silvani and biking to the State park, the boardwalk and the Brewery, the Sandspur, Fort Fisher for the aquarium and beach hikes, taking the ferry to and from Southport, and a quick drive to Wilmington for a day playing at the Children's Museum and walking along the river walk. Just the best!

It was the perfect stay for our family- my four kids (aged 3-8), four adults and a set of grandparents. The hosts had thought of everything! The elevator was so nice for the grandparents and for moving luggage up and down when coming and going. So clean and comfortable! It was a quick walk to the beach. The marsh area in the back was fun and unique. We caught a crab which was fun for the kids. All the beach gear and toys and chairs and wagons were SO NICE. We didn't have to pack those things to bring with us which was the best. Our kids loved the golf game and the basketball game in the basement. Really can't say enough good things about the house and the hosts. We would definitely go back!

We had a great stay at this property. Plenty of extras to feel comfortable - extra paper products, trash bags, etc and even had a beach wagon, chairs, beach bags, and towels. Responsive host without extra unnecessary conversation. Really appreciated this last minute availability as our original booking got cancelled the night before.

We had a great stay at Sarah’s place! We had our 8 month old daughter and dog with us, both first timers at the beach. We had plenty of room for them both and us. It’s very baby and dog friendly in this home. It’s a quick stroll to the beach and can easily go back and forth during the day if needed. The place had everything we needed and more. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay! The home was as described and the short walk to the beach was very nice! There were plenty of beach chairs/accessories and a wagon to tote everything which was a great addition. We had a good time playing ping pong in the garage which had a lot of room- we didn’t use the bikes but there was a bike for anyone that would have wanted one! The house was clean and beds were comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Abbe's place. It was exactly as described and was perfect. It was so clean and had everything we needed and then some. The neighborhood was quiet, easy walk to the beach and shops and restaurants and a nice yard for our dog. We spent a lot of time just relaxing on the deck. Abbe checked in on us and was so easy to deal with. I would recommend Abbe's place to anyone and we will definitely be back.

Nice place! Very clean . Had everything in order and more. We enjoyed our weekend there. Loved how close it was to the beach and squiggly’s ice cream shop! Will definitely come back to stay there! Catherine went above and beyond with the details inside the house!

Great place and safe neighborhood. It was clean, well stocked, and I enjoyed the decor. The house setup was perfect for traveling with two little kids. The hosts were great with communication and helpful with local recommendations. It was easy to get to the grocery store, restaurants, playgrounds and a 20ish minute drive to the beach. Would stay here again!

Shannon did a great job with communicating with us. She was very proactive with everything. Check in was flexible and the house was very clean. She had provided bed linens, towels (beach & bath), shampoo, conditioner, tooth brushes and plenty of toilet tissue. The kitchen was well stocked including trash bags, dish detergent (sink / dishwasher) and paper towels! Our dogs loved the fenced in backyard play area. There were awesome areas to sit outside at night. One large gas fire pit down stairs with plenty of comfortable furniture and a smaller fire pit upstairs outside our spacious bedroom on the balcony. The bathrooms were large and very clean. My adult children and grandchildren had a wonderful time playing the arcade game. Thanks Shannon for sharing your beautiful home at the beach!

We have stayed at Marc and Rebecca’s at least 6 times, maybe more. That we keep going back should speak for itself. Their place is always clean and neat. We are close to our relatives which is a priority for us. We have cooked meals there as grocery stores are close. We have also enjoyed many restaurants in the area. We feel safe in the neighborhood. There are sidewalks for walking for exercise and the backyard looks out on a pond. We see fish and geese. Our grandson loves to go look at the geese. We already have reservations to stay there again. Rachel's condo was the cleanest Airbnb that I've ever stayed at. The inside was nicely decorated. Plenty of towels and washcloths. The check out instructions were minimal which I liked.

Had a great time, the location is perfect! Very quick walk to the beach and close to whatever we needed.

I was in town for 2 weeks on a work trip. Home was comfortable and location was great. Close to my office and convenient to lots of shopping and dining options.

The place was clean and spacious. The beds are a bit soft so if you like firmer mattress this place is probably not for you. Neighbor was quiet and clean!
