Sandarusi is a beautiful house, set on our favourite stretch of beach - we'll be back! Thanks to Anthony and Rodgers for looking after us so well

We had a great stay at the property and suitable for little children. Rachel the housekeeper welcomed us and came daily, the property had everything we needed for a long week end stay. The beach was a few meters from the house with an Askari (guard) on the gate and an Askari on the main gate so you felt safe. The pool is wonderful just what was needed to cool off in the heat. We chose to have a chef, John, who bought all the groceries and fish and prepared everything requested even during a power cut he produced our evening meal. Would definitely recommend this place.

Absolute rustic beach-front paradise and such a lovely team of staff! Ocean views are stunning and tennis court is a lot of fun. Jacquie is amazingly responsive and so helpful. Thank you so much!

This was one of our favourite air bnbs. Elizabeth and Duca (staff) were fabulous and Cynthia cooked us a couple of delicious dinners. Great communication, Michal helped us book some great adventures and we found it easy to get around. Super friendly folks in Diani. If you want a great place to relax with tons of space this can’t be beat. Just remember to close the doors or the monkeys will try to join you 😂

Fantastic location for a peaceful getaway location. The beach has barely anyone and we had a great time enjoying the beach The garden, pool was spacious and huge. Children loved the space. We enjoyed the food prepared by the chef please note this is a separate cost/arrangement. Omari also organised our transfer from the airport and back. It was an approximate 2hrs drive from Mombasa international airport. I would highly recommend this location. The staff were very welcoming and so was the environment.

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus direkt am Meer in Afrika wirklich genossen! Die Lage war atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf das Meer einfach spektakulär. Die Köchin Elisabeth war fantastisch und ist stets auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen. Das gesamte Team war sehr freundlich und haben uns während unseres Aufenthalts bestens versorgt. Das Essen war köstlich und die Betreuung sehr aufmerksam. Das Ferienhaus selbst war sehr komfortabel und sauber. Wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team für den schönen Aufenthalt!

We had an amazing time at Faith's place! The house is spotless, well-organized, and filled with natural light. The balcony offers breathtaking views, and we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the beachfront pool. Faith's communication was outstanding—she was proactive and attentive from the moment we booked, throughout our stay, and even after checkout. She went above and beyond by providing helpful recommendations, including connecting us with a fantastic chef. This experience exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to staying here again in the future!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful home — spacious, spotless, and thoughtfully equipped. The bedrooms were cool and comfortable thanks to the air conditioning and fans, making nights by the beach relaxing and restful. Irene (the housekeeper) and Abdallah (the chef) truly made our stay unforgettable. Their warmth and attention to detail made the house feel like home, and by the end of the trip, they genuinely felt like part of the family. The house has everything you need, including beach towels for both the semi-private pool and the beach, which is just a few steps away. Getting around was easy — we hopped on a tuk-tuk to explore the town and visit places like Stiltz, where we even got to feed bush babies! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return in a heartbeat.

I had a wonderful stay at Sarah’s place! The home was spotless and just as described. Sarah was incredibly attentive and responsive—she always replied quickly and was very helpful throughout my stay. Her hospitality really made the experience smooth and enjoyable. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend her place to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed Airbnb.

We had a great stay at Miriam's place! The location was very convenient (Ubers always just minutes away and lots of restaurants available for food delivery through Glovo), and wonderful communication from both Miriam and Georgina. The place was clean and we had access to a cleaner each day to do some small cleaning and bedding changes. We only had two minor issues: 1. The listing states that there is private beach access, which is not really accurate. There is a back gate that leads to the water, but no beach, just a rocky area. This was a main reason for booking the place, so this was disappointing. 2. We were told by Georgina after we were already there that the pool is not suitable for swimming. This should also be updated in the listing. Would still recommend the place, and we enjoyed our stay.

Angela is great at communicating and very accommodating and helpful. A genuinely great host. The apartment is what I would define as the "perfect" size - not too large, not too small. The condition of everything is great. The location is excellent. You have a pool if you want to chill/do a bit of light swimming. There is a bar and restaurant on premises. You can walk directly out to the beach. There are multiple great restaurants within walking distance along the beach, which I would recommend over paying for a Bolt/Uber, which will take you longer and cost more than your feet, which are free. There are also camel rides, boat, fishing, water sports all available along the beach walking either north or south (easier to go south). I posted some drone photos on Google and provided them to Angela, they should give you a great idea of the apartment and location.

Nadia’s villa was an awesome place to stay. Beautiful house, garden and pool, safe, 5 minutes from beach. The resort staff and in particular Carol, who looks after the house - everyone looked after us really well. Carol made the week really easy, and went out of her way to help us find our feet, first time in Mombasa - she also made us some great meals. A perfect location, I would love to come back!

Quintessential Airbnb! It felt like someone made it a comfortable home, and then shared it with you. Kitchen is complete and functional, and the Carrefour is indeed a couple of minutes away on foot, so you can actually cook stuff. If you don't want to cook, there's a good restaurant downstairs, and there are a lot of good options nearby. The beach is walking distance as well. The space feels bigger than advertised. It's quite airy, but also comes with AC and ceiling fan, so it's super comfy. Pam is a great and responsive host, and is able to connect you to any services you need that is not offered on site. The building is well lighted at all times, and the restaurant is open until late, so it feels quite safe. Place is spotless (and I saw them clean it). To top it off, it's a really good value, especially for a longer stay! I'm surprised it isn't booked more often.

Beautiful and large house, garden, and beach. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly, in-house chef made delicious food, the beach was basically private and the owners communicated well with us. The location is fairly remote but even without our own transport, we were able to take a taxi to diani without a problem. The beach itself is fairly shallow so massive swims are not really an option but snorkeling works and it is still very beautiful. Would come here again any day. Thank you team!

Large apartment. Excellent wifi. Air con in master bedroom worked great but it was warm for me in the main living area and kitchen. Limited view towards the sea. You can cross the road and walk down a narrow path to the beach, which is nice at low tide. Security guard were friendly. Near supermarkets. Great communication. Would recommend.

The house is even better in person 😍we were here for new years and saw a beautiful fireworks display..the house was very clean...host was super responsive and helpful...I'd definitely recommend and come back again 🥹🥹

The house is beautifully presented with 4 enormous double bedrooms, two with equally enormous balconies. The pictures do not do the property justice. Mzuri House is part of a well run little complex. Security is ever present and you feel perfectly at ease at all times. The house feels very private and is 20M from the quieter Galu Beach, an extension of Diani beach. Sails and Salty Squid restaurants are excellent and only 100M. However the main attractions at Mzuri House are Liz the housekeeper and Shee the chef. Both were amazing hosts. Liz will communicate with before you arrive. She will arrange everything for you from airport pick-ups to restaurant bookings as well as keep the house spotless. Shee the chef prepares delicious breakfasts and lunch and / or dinner. All meals were extraordinary local dishes that our usually difficult to please 3 kids devoured! We can not recommend Mzuri House enough and in particular Liz and Shee.

We stayed at the Warm Sea Sand and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The place was incredibly quiet and peaceful, offering direct access to the beach, which made it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The manager, Rosa, who also doubled as the chef, was phenomenal. Her food was outstanding, matched only by her warm and welcoming attitude. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The only small suggestion I’d make is to swap the regular bathing soap for shower gels in the bathrooms, as they’d work better with the hard water. Overall, a fantastic stay!

Beautiful peaceful spot with lots of space inside and outside and easy access to quiet beach. The staff on site were very kind and helpful. The house has a relaxed, easy going charm that made it comfortable to be there with children. We enjoyed it!
