Our mountain cabin provides stunning views and natural beauty that only Colorado can provide. Fishermen will love this location! The Rio Grande River is only steps away. Follow the Rio Grande River along the Silver Thread Scenic Highway 17 miles to Creede and explore the town or drive 30 minutes to Wolf Creek Ski Area, known for having the most snow in CO.

One bedroom and full bath plus mini kitchen above garage guest house - separate from the main cabin. Walk from your door on a private wooded trail to the Rio Grande River to fish or meditate. Walking distance to Deep Creek trailhead for hiking or mountain biking. Four miles from town for easy access to restaurants, theater and shopping. Pets welcome. RV Hook up available. Fun fact about this building is that it is a barndominium. The metal part came from Summitville. The old gold mine by South Fork, It was the shop that was up there. It was taken down and we reassembled the metal part and built this.

Welcome to the Red Fox Retreat, a log cabin on 2 acres in a mountain “neighborhood” (with red fox). There are four bedrooms (one detached in a little back cabin) and three bathrooms (one is detached). If you do NOT need to use the detached extra bed and bath, please let me know so my cleaners can schedule their time accordingly. 🐶We love dogs but please select that you’re bringing (up to two) due to a $100 total fee.
