We stayed here for over a month and had a wonderful experience. The location is absolutely ideal. It's tucked away on a quiet dead-end street, yet just a 5-minute walk to downtown Wanaka and the lake. It felt very private and peaceful, with no traffic noise, just the sound of the little stream/brook, which we could see and hear from both the bedroom window and the living room balcony. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and we cooked nearly every night. Elizabeth, our host, was incredibly responsive and helped us sort out a minor internet issue right away. We also really appreciated the hospitality—Mike, our local point of contact, even lent us hiking poles for some nearby trails. Overall, a fantastic stay in a beautiful spot. Would absolutely return!

Comfy home, really soft beds, kitchen has all the utensils you need to make a meal. The skylight is a plus. Plus size tv for you to chill and Netflix. Quite neighborhood. The unit is at the second floor, if you have trouble climbing stairs while carrying your luggages you might find it challenging. You need a car to get to downtown.

We had a great stay at Victorias place over Easter Weekend while we were up from Southland for Wheels at Wanaka. The property was very clean, tidy & as described/displayed in the pictures. We were really pleasantly surprised at how quiet the property was! I was worried that with it being a ground floor unit that we might experience noise from the house on top, but we barely heard a peep! The property is also situated in a really quiet area, in a cul de sac near the base of Mt Iron, so there was also zero traffic noise - fantastic for us country folk who are used to the quiet life! Victoria was great on the communication front & very obliging with extra requests we made. Thanks for a great weekend!

House was lovely, beds comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and more! Beautiful view out the full back wall of windows. Full moon over the lake at 7 am!

We had a great stay here. Our children really enjoyed using the amenities (pool, ping pong, tennis courts)! The apartment was a great size for our family, clean, well appointed and the hosts were easy to communicate with. High-end lovely home with Hot tub and lock-up garage. Tastefully presented, neat and tidy. We were a family of 4 adults, this home was perfect, well located warm and cozy. we would stay here again in future if available. Recommend this property to anyone looking for quality accommodation in the heart of Wanaka.

House was nice and inviting. Weather was wet and cold during our stay and the house was lovely and warm. Adam was a great host, got in touch before , during and after our stay to make sure we were happy with the house and if needed anything. We absolutely adored staying at Te Awa Lodge on our recent trip to Wanaka. It was a gorgeous riverside home with an amazing hot tub and sauna, which we loved using after our hikes. Graeme and Carolyn were such warm, welcoming hosts and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The property is easily accessible to Wanaka (10-15 min) and Mount Aspiring (1 hour) . Would highly recommend to anyone in the area!

The house was comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, spacious, and sparkling clean, it made us feel right at home. The beds were incredibly comfortable too! The location is wonderfully peaceful, nestled so close to the Remarkables mountain range. We enjoyed the incredible mountain views every day, rain or shine. Although it was only early April, we were lucky enough to see snow-capped peaks for several days during our stay. The view was breathtaking—almost surreal—with the mountains so close, it felt like we could reach out and touch them! We also highly recommend the 30-minute scenic drive up to the Remarkables Ski Area. It’s a great base for exploring Queenstown and the surrounding areas, while avoiding the hustle and bustle of town. Our 11-year-old son loved the two fantastic playgrounds nearby, and there’s a beautiful walking/cycling trail too—perfect for the whole family. We could not have loved Wanaka and this condo more! Everything was so clean, located close to the town area, and Alex & Jesper were wonderful hosts! It was 3 days of bliss for us. We would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderfull time with Crawford and Janet. A lovely couple. The house is very big with a great garden, great view, great bed and shower. Wanaka is also a very nice town with lots of nice places. We highly recommend this place to stay!

Meryl’s place was comfortable and spacious with amazing views. Meryl is a great host and very considerate of her guests, providing a generous amount of supplies like towels, laundry soap, dishwashing tablets. Even the shampoos, conditioners, bath gels and hand soap were of good quality. She is also quick to respond and provided clear instructions before check in and check out. Thank you!
