Ferienunterkünfte mit Frühstück in Lake Superior

This was our second stay at Monica's wonderful cabin and it was as perfect as the first time. House was clean, roomy, homey, we felt like visiting an old friend. Surrounding is spectacular, and we had great time cross-country skiing at two trails near Thunder Bay. The sauna is the best we've been to, clean, with absolutely gorgeous view toward the sunset; it heated very quickly and kept heat for a good amount of time. Kitchen is like home, with everything needed for family cooking. Monica even left eggs, milk, and and local pancake mix for us to enjoy -- thank you! Overall it's been our absolute best place to visit with my aging parents who enjoyed not having not having stairs in the house.

Chad’s home was perfect for our needs. Plenty of room, breathtaking views, perfect location for bird hunting options. Looking forward to another visit.

Great location and has everything our family needed for the weekend. Short walk to everything in downtown Spooner, including the coffee shop and brewery. Have stayed here several times and already looking forward to our next visit.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location. We were so close to the SDC for the MTU graduation! It was the perfect spot. There were lots of games to choose from for the evenings when we were all hanging out. The coffee station was nice. The big desk in the single bedroom was great for our daughter to work on some school work while we were away from home. It was a great experience! I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming for MTU graduation!

This comfy cottage will now be our “go to” for any adventure travel to the Ironwood area. We have never stayed in an Airbnb as well appointed or cleaner! Sue has thought of everything one could possibly need. She is a warm and friendly hostess who is extremely responsive to any question or request. The homemade bread and farm fresh eggs were an “over-the-top” addition. She also brought us “warm from the oven” chocolate chip cookies. We could not have enjoyed our stay more!

Favorite place to stay!

We stayed at this property to ride the ATV trail system. You could not ask for a better location to the system. Easy to get to the trails, and access to two great loops to ride.

WE were in the area for work. Great place to stay with everything we needed to accommodate us for the week. Great communication from Nancy which made everything from check in to check out a breeze. Would stay again!!

We were in the area to visit the porcupine mountains and Joseph's basement apartment worked great. We were about 30 minutes from the western tip of the park. We packed a lunch and spent our days in the mountains. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed for making meals along with various travel brochures for options of what to do in the area.

We place many medical students for housing across the U.P. Here's what our student commented: "By far the best air bnb I've stayed at in the UP."!

I stayed for a week and enjoyed the area. It was only an hour from Munising where I had planned a bunch of activities. The place was bigger than the pictures and had everything I needed to cook for the week. Had a little issue initially connecting to the internet but Pam was responsive and helpful. Would happily stay again if I’m in the area.

un cadre idyllique ! avec un grand jardin qui donne sur le lac supérieur a l'arrière de la maison, idéal pour prendre le petit déjeuner. le petit déjeuner inclus est de qualité avec des pâtisseries maison ! salle de bain nickel et nous n'avons jamais eu à attendre. Cheryl a été très accueillante et réactive à chacun de nos messages. Merci !

Jacqueline was an amazing host and I would recommend this to anyone! She made us feel super comfortable, welcomed and at home. She had wrote a list of waterfalls for us to visit and in a specific order. Breakfast every morning was amazing and she even made cakes and desserts every night! I could not have asked for a better stay. If you are even on this page checking her out, just book it!! You won’t regret it. Super sweet lady and beautiful home. The Garden Grove Airbnb was a perfect place to stay the night after spending all day enjoying Fayette Historic State Park. Our room and the shared bathroom all were well-equipped and clean. The surroundings were very quiet allowing for a great night sleep prior to our long trip home. Our room on the third floor had AC which was needed even on a relatively cool day. For Verizon users, cell service was very limited so have your check-in instructions saved off prior to arriving.

Charming 140 year old house. The breakfast and bakery down stairs was the real 5 star.

Hard to write a review for a place that is see it to believe it. Everything blew away my expectations even with the photos and I will for sure be back again…and again…and again!

Charming place, chuck full of history and steps from a gorgeous state park. Sheets were soft, the bed comfortable, the staff welcoming and the breakfast great.

We came to the Keweenaw hoping to see the Northern Lights, but we missed them by a week. However, our trip was memorable anyway, largely because of Kathy's hospitality and her knowledge of the area. The 'light breakfast' was the perfect way to start our days of exploring the history and natural beauty of the peninsula. Kathy provided a map, which was continually useful. The bed is really comfortable, the night is incredibly quiet and dark. We slept very well. It's useful to know that cell service is sparse in the area, so the roadmap is extra useful when you're out and about. And it's not a bad idea to arrive with a full tank of gas because there's not a station around every bend. (Or grocery store. Or restaurant, for that matter.) Again, this is where Kathy's expertise and local knowledge is invaluable. One thing I'd recommend: walk across the street and onto the bridge over the Eagle River and watch the water flow into Lake Superior. If you want a place to relax, this is it.

Very comfortable and private space. We slept so well! The breakfasts were fresh and delicious, and the freshly made to-go snack was so appreciated. The space is great, and the bathroom is nice. We didn't get much cell service, and the wifi was spotty in our room, but that didn't really impact our stay, but something to know if that's important to you.
