What a beautiful spot! We loved being in such a peaceful location, just a short walk from being able to swim in the lake. Lovely's place had everything we need, including a nice outdoor area - perfect for storing bikes and drying swimming gear! Lovely was a dream to communicate with and went out of her way to make our stay great. We can't recommend staying here highly enough!

We stopped over in Taupo for the night and this fitted us perfectly!

This BnB is not far from the CBD Taupo, 7 min drive. A lovely place, clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a fridge and oven warmer, and perfect for me that wanted drop- in accommodation for a few days. Tina the host is lovely. I would recommend this place to people .

One of the best Airbnbs I have stayed in, Sandra is an awesome host and I felt right at home. The dogs are very cute and super friendly and I always felt like I could ask Sandra for anything if I needed it. Overall a great experience and would 100% stay here again on my next work trip!

I found Braxmere Lodge very clean and comfortable in quiet and traquil location at southern end of Lake Taupo. Felt safe and private. Friendly staff. Stunning views. I will stay again.

Lovely place. Newly renovated. The restaurant next door has re-opened with great food. There are laundry facilities onsite but please note you need coins. A $2 coin for dryer and a $1 and $2 coin for washer.

Jude was a wonderful host - very friendly and proactive. She provided a whole list of recommendations for the local area which was super useful. The location of the apartment was a stones throw away from the lake, and the apartment itself was well equipped and spacious. Thanks again, Jude, for your wonderful hospitality!

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Dave's, the hot pool and pool table were a stand out for us. There's also so much to do in the area, we barely scratched the surface, 100% would visit again.

Fabulous stay, Melissa and her family went the extra mile to welcome us and farewell us checking that we had enjoyed our stay. The accommodation was everything and more than what we expected. A real treat to have fresh milk and juice in the fridge as well as a grand breakfast selection and range of tea options. The location is idyllic, would highly recommend.

We had a relaxing stay in the cozy studio. Appreciated the good water pressure and the washing machine. Highly recommended.

Bex was a fabulous host and made us feel very much at home. The accommodation was exactly as described and Bex gave very clear instructions and was super responsive to messages. We were very comfortable for our stay in Taupo for Ironman NZ and Bex and Derek even came out to support me on the course which was so kind of them and very much appreciated. Our accommodation was spotless and we had great fun hanging out with Patch :-) Would definitely recommend Bex as a host and would stay again for my next trip to Taupo.

Delightful separate studio, easy access, split level. Everything absolutely superior and perfectly presented. Wonderful architecture. Our host Jane was pleasantly friendly. would stay again.

Great little place to sleep and get a shower in for a quick stop over. Could hear the people upstairs walking around upstairs but not late overall a comfortable stay.

My partner and I had a lovely two night stay here. The space had everything we needed, was super clean, great location, all the amenities and had a touch of luxury. Werner was super responsive and accommodating. We will be back next time we are in the area for sure!! :)

Lovely accomm in a lovely part of the world. Debbie’s place was spotless, spacious and comfortable. Having a fully fenced garden made life so much easier with a dog! It was also such a treat to be able to park in the garage and access the apartment from there. Debbie had helpfully provided some information on eateries and dog walking areas nearby. I would definitely stay here again. Motouapa has a lovely community and marina, and any excuse to visit again would be welcome. (As an aside, the design of this multigenerational living/home & income style property is very clever.)

We had a lovely stay and it was nice to be greeted by Lynda on arrival. Lots to explore around Taupo. Would recommend and stay again if ever in the area again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The space is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Laurie and Heather are excellent hosts. Our time in Taupo went too fast. It's a lovely area and many amazing places to experience within an hour drive. And, it was so easy to walk to the lake and the main part of the town.

Catherine, David and labradorable miss Mills made us feel very welcome and at home. We were given some tips and recommendations while in Taupo and surrounds which was super helpful! The kitchenette was perfect for 2 people travelling, bonus points for being pet-friendly. Beware: the adorable doggo will visit you daily so watch out for those puppy eyes! -G&V

Excellent emplacement dans Turangi à quelques minutes à pied du centre et des commerces. Le logement est très confortable. Nous avions chacun notre chambre, la cuisine était très fonctionnelle. Thé, café, muesli, lait à disposition pour le petit-déjeuner. Grande salle de bains avec machine à laver. Excellent rapport qualité-prix et emplacement à 30mn en voiture de Taupo et du parc Tongariro. Je recommande d'y rester au moins 3 nuits pour profiter de la région (bâton de randonnée et parapluies fournis!)

we had a wonderful stay. Felt right at home. would recommend for a relaxed stay wih stunning views to the mountains. unfortunately we missed it durle to the weather but was still worth it. wonderful host to have a healthy conversation.

Had a great four days. Apartment is walking distance to lake, nearby restaurants and shops. Margaret got in touch with good instructions on how to access the apartment. Worried there might be noise as it was Supercars weekend but was lovely and quiet. Would definitely stay again!
