We had a wonderful, peaceful few days at this charming cottage , with stunning views and a great location. It was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. Eunice was a friendly and very helpful host - communication was responsive and thoughtful . We would highly recommend this cottage and would return in a heartbeat.

Cornelia was a wonderful host, very organised and welcoming. The room is beautiful, private and quiet. There were even fresh flowers on the table when we arrived! There is an incredible garden behind the house with a view of the mountains and the beach is stunning, only 2 minutes walk away. All in all, a very peaceful and lovely place to stay. We had a wonderful time! Thank you, Cornelia!

Rene's place was beautiful. She's a GREAT host and we enjoyed the extras water, milk rusks, etc. The location on the golf course was beautiful. Well be back.

Lovely place. Room is very nice with microwave oven, fridge and kettle. Coffee, milk, tea, sugar, cookies and muesli were supplied. Nice and Quiet. Emily and Andre were very nice and welcomed us on arrival. Also kept us up to speed on load shedding, which we appreciated. A plus is the Pool which we unfortunately did Not had the opportunity to use. Definitely recommend this place.

Vielen Dank für deine eigene, tolle Broschüre mit Tipps für die Umgebung und den Tipps für Restaurants in Swellendam. So eine Broschüre habe ich noch in keinem Airbnb gesehen. Dafür ein Extralob! Auch deine persönlichen Tipps zur Gegend und möglichen Wanderungen waren super. Wir haben wirklich viel erlebt und in Swellendam excellent gegessen (unser Favorit: De Vagebond, ein herrliches Restaurant mit fantastischen Strauß-Gerichten) Swellendam ist wirklich gut gelegen für Ausflüge in die umliegenden Nature Reserves (Marloth … einfach ein paar km den Berg hoch oder auch Grootvadersbosch) … Natur pur, wunderbar! Auch die Fahrt etwas Richtung Westen durch die grüne Obst- und Weingegend war absolut sehenswert.

Great space, central to everything. The host is an amazing artist and has on display some of her work. Loved it.

Thoroughly enjoyed exploring the beautiful, tranquil town of Greyton with unique shops and beathtaking walks in the Nature Reserve. Stunning place and super friendly people. Perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life. Kirsten is a great host and communicates well. Her accommodation offers privacy. It is comfortable, clean and has all the essentials required. We enjoyed the apartment. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night at Grieta’s place, but it was exactly what was needed for a brief overnight stay. It is a reasonably spacious, clean room with a bathroom, attached to the main house but with a separate entrance. The neighbourhood was easy to find and peaceful. We requested to check in a bit early, and Grieta was very friendly and accommodating.

It was a home away from home. I love everything about it and I’m definitely coming. The warmth I felt there from welcoming to a nice chill with the hosts made my trip complete.

Small private apartment/lodge in a secure area. Secure private parking. Private little courtyard. Well equipped apartment (even got a Nespresso machine!). Less than 5 mins away from Hermanus centrum and Hermanus golf club by car. Great restaurant within 3 min walking distance. Super option for couple or single that want to use it as base to explore Hermanus and surrounding areas.

what a gem! The guest suite is beautiful. Brian was welcoming and full of local information which was invaluable. We visited a few of the recommended vineyards as well as local restaurants and cafes and they did not disappoint. Highlights included Vrede en Lust for brunch, The French bistro for dinner and The Blue Correander for a curry. The Mad Hatter was a great spot to have a relaxing drink whilst listening to live music. Thank you Brian for welcoming us to your beautiful area. Hope to return to do more of the recommendations!

Lovely accommodation in a lovely area. Jacques was really friendly as well, giving us many recommendations of local restaurants.

We had the most delightful stay at Doorways. Daph is an extraordinary host and her rooms are comfortable and really well appointed. Spacious, clean, peaceful and surrounded by a beautiful garden, you really can't ask for more. We can't wait to go back.
