Speewa Shack

Our quaint and rustic little shack is part of the shearing building and it has been the original residence on this landholding on our small working property. Our rustic and original outside"wash house" is the bathroom & toilet.” Glamping style” We welcome all visitors to enjoy a taste of rural life and offer a quiet and tranquil retreat. We are close to the Murray River and Swan Hill. In this region we boast a wonderful diversity of agriculture and horticulture and many places of interest.

The Lake House near Ouyen Lake

A cosy little 3 bedroom home close to the Ouyen Lake. Main bedroom has ensuite and queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. Bedroom 3 has a queen bed. Kitchen is well equipped with appliances, cutlery, crockery and other items for your convenience. Whilst you can not see the lake from the house, it is one of the closest in town, directly across the road from the entrance. Ouyen is rural surrounded by dry-land farming in the middle of the Mallee. It is dry, it is dusty and shops close early.

Easily found the cabins are located behind the 45mt long mural created by Kaff-eine. Although the hotel was destroyed by fire, out of the ashes has arisen the Mallee Hen Tavern which provides evening meals and a cold beverage, the tavern is open from 4pm every day. Located in the heart of the Mallee, Lascelles is on the doorstep to some great attractions. We are not far from anywhere so make it your base when travelling. Lake Tyrell, Silo Art, Lake Lascelles, Giant Mallee Fowl, sand drift.

Sea Lake Lodgings

The house is close to Sea Lake shops (500m), Silo Art Trail & Street Art, and Lake Tyrrell viewing platform (7kms). A fully equipped kitchen and bbq, including basic pantry items are provided. . Clean, large bedrooms, air conditioning and an quiet outdoor setting, all for your self catered stay. *Please note that the house will be closed for short periods for further alterations, incl kitchen alterations and verandah repairs. New bathroom, toilet and laundry completed August 2020.
