We've hosted lovely folks from all over the world since 2017 in our family home--and now, we embark on a renovation journey. Changes for 2/1/26 + New sleeping arrangement; double-bunk bed replaced with 1 King bed + House capacity changes from 10 to 8 + Upgrading living room sofas and chairs + Repainting 3 rooms This is just the start of a broader vision we expect to complete by 2028. This house is a comfy, cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath house built in the early 1900's and recently updated. It is in the heart of the Black Hills, minutes from Deadwood. It is close to skiing and snowmobiling in the winter; hiking, sightseeing and fishing in the summer. The deck overlooking Lead offers a space in the sun or a covered portion for shade. Four person hot tub and fireplace makes the end of day so relaxing! Be aware, there are 32 stairs from street to house. Trailer parking available.

Located in beautiful Maitland Canyon with seasonal Falsebottom Creek right off the private back deck featuring a BBQ and outdoor table. We have lived here for 40 years and are still amazed with the beauty of the Northern Black Hills. Close to so much, but with a real connection to the pristine nature that the Black Hills are famous for.

Spring is a beautiful time of the year to visit the Black Hills! Our 120 year-old home is located within walking distance of Lynn's DakotaMart grocery store, The Hearst Library, Roundhouse Liquors, Shiver's Brewery, and a great breakfast venue, That Place. Lewie's Burgers and The Stampmill are a very short drive. It's a quick drive to Deadwood. You can be on the ski/hike/bike/snowmobile trails in 1-4 minutes. The Mining Museum and Sanford Lab are close by. Note: The house does NOT have Wifi.

Welcome to your group's new favorite lodge, a place where no one has to compromise. Boasting 5 spacious King Bedrooms, each with its own private ensuite bathroom, TV, and fireplace. After a day of skiing at Terry Peak or riding the nearby trails, your group can spread out. Gather around the 6-foot gas fire table on the deck, soak in the private hot tub, or head to the community center for a swim in the year-round heated pool. This is how the Black Hills are meant to be experienced.
