Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house in Irish. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it before ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor and within walking distance to the Cliffs. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made interior wooden shutters to cover the large light filled windows

I'm less than a one hour drive from Cork, Kilkenny, Dungarvan and Waterford and 40 minutes from Limerick so central. The beautiful Glen of Aherlow is nearby with great walks, cycle trails and horse riding. Our beautiful, tranquil,family run 10 acre organic smallholding is in Feakle, in the East Clare Lakelands.. 5 mins from Peppers bar, a traditional music venue, serving food daily. There are many lakes for swimming/fishing/kayaking near by,also the East Clare walking route, the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher , the Wild Atlantic way etc. Vegetables from the garden, when in season and homemade bread available . Dogs are welcome, if kept under control and not left in the house alone.
