1775 Charming Historical House

Antique charm meets modern comfort in this charming 1775 Colonial house designated by Preservation Society. Sited on one-acre lot, the craftsmanship of this multi-generational homestead showcases its history: beamed ceilings, wide-plank floors, custom built-ins and mantlepieces will bring you back in time. The 1800 s.f. of living space includes two bedrooms plus family room with queen sofa bed. Only 15 minutes from providence and 40 minutes to Newport, Barrington is the perfect New England town.

Lovely Private Setting, walk to beach.

A five minute drive to downtown Newport, and a few minutes walk to Sachuest Beach, this above-garage guesthouse is detached from the main residence with its own private entrance. There is a large living area and a kitchenette, bedroom and bathroom. The living room sofa converts to a bed, so the property is ideal for 2 people, however, the sleep sofa can accommodate 2 more. There is no extra charge for children under the age of 18. We are dog friendly. There's a $25 charge for a second dog.

Our property is centrally located from all beaches in South County Rhode Island. Walking distance to shopping and groceries also a playground if you have children. Enjoy this beautiful home that we poured our heart and soul into ourselves. There are custom countertops along with the soft touches to make you feel at home. The bathroom is extremely spacious. There is a wide open living/dining area . One queen Bedroom with lots of space. A twin bedroom that extends into a king bed.

The open floor plan is great for big families or larger groups to gather and be together in the house. This is a 1,400 sq ft private in-law apartment with your own locked entrance completely separate from the house. The 1st floor has two bedrooms with new queen beds and a full bath. The 2nd floor has a full kitchen, pull out couch, full bath and room for an inflatable bed. Child and dog friendly with pack n play and water bowls on hand. Wonderful location in the heart of Newport with parking on-site which is great as most things you and your guests will want to do is in walking distance. The apartment has 3 rooms; 2 rooms have queen sized beds and the 3rd room has a twin bed, there is also a pull out couch, (surprisingly comfortable) that makes into a double bed. There is also a washer & dryer on site for your convenience! We are local and always available during your stay.
