We had a lovely Easter weekend here as a three-generation family – grandparents, parents, and young children all thoroughly enjoyed it! The house is absolutely beautiful , stylish, and full of character, set in a peaceful spot, it even includes an old water-mill. The location was ideal for us with easy access to Oxford and the surrounding area. There’s a new children's play area just a short walk away, and the local farm shop nearby was perfect for picking up fresh produce and treats – we had everything we needed without having to go far. The hosts were thoughtful and welcoming, and the house was spotless with everything we could need for a comfortable stay. Plenty of space for everyone to relax.

We thoroughly enjoyed the house and location. Although not Sians issue, construction near the train station makes it difficult to get into town by taxi because you have to go around the city. However, if you don’t mind walking and bicycling, there are exceptional bike and walking paths right out to the house from Oxford. I’d stay again in a heart beat.

The house was lovely, had everything you could possibly think of for a comfortable stay. We stayed with three kids (one baby) and it was just perfect. Our kids LOVED the pool (super warm and Just right for the kids) and the games room. The welcome basket was amazing and super generous- best gift ever!

Lovely place to stay. Easy access to Oxford and London via Didcot Parkway and Marcham itself is lovely. The pub next door is great fun and had really good food. Georgina was a great host- she was quick to respond and gave local recommendations.

The barn is beautiful and very well fitted out. Fabulous setting, absolutely stunning and super peaceful and quiet. The one bathroom was challenging at times with a party of adults but the rest of the barn is faultless and such a joy to stay in. The tennis court and other amenities were fabulous.

Lovely comfortable and spacious family house . Suzie the host was very friendly and obliging and made us feel very welcome in her beautiful home. Would definitely book again .

I’d like to thank gardener Rex for answering all my questions throughout my stay. Without you Rex, it could have been tricky to communicate. Anyway, I and my family had a good time at Christopher’s place. It’s a place for both peaceful break or active sporting time. Great garden for a calm walk throughout a day, great pool with a hammam(a steam sauna), a tennis court…my family really enjoyed all the facilities. Also kitchen was really well equipped and a welcome bread and milk were delicious! Location was also great. Famous Cotswold big name spots, restaurants, farm markets are within 20 min by car.

Really lovely house and wouldn’t hesitate to book it again if staying in the area. Close to the town centre, lots of walks nearby and close to some lovely villages and towns. Beds were very comfy, all rooms were spacious and a bit quirky. Lexy even left us a nice bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely touch. Thanks so much!

A great cottage in the heart of Woodstock. Beautifully decorated with interesting (antique) furniture, pristine kitchen and bathroom and comfortable bedrooms. The central location makes it easy to access the town's great selection of pubs, cafes and restaurants, whilst the double glazing means that it is still very quiet.

The cottage is ideal for a longer stay, when working in the area. The village is very pretty and peaceful and the cottage has everything you would need to stay comfortably for a while.

Lovely, spotlessly clean, peaceful house and clearly a lot of care had been put into details. Check-in was straightforward and Leima gave great instructions. Bedrooms were comfortable and spacious and it was great to have an ensuite in every one! The kitchen was well equipped and the toys in the living room were very welcome! The graveled garden has plenty of seating and great for the children to let off steam. Had been concerned about toddlers on gravel, but it had the distinct advantage of not being muddy after a shower of rain! The neighbourhood is quiet and the house is in easy walking distance to a small supermarket and playground. Laima is a lovely host, she responded quickly and was always very helpful. Highly recommend this house!

We had a wonderful Easter break staying at this lovely home with our family (4 adults and 2 kids). The house was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The backyard was a real bonus—perfect for the kids to play and for us to relax. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free. The location was ideal for exploring Oxfordshire and the surrounding areas. Beautiful home, easy to find and very comfortable for us. We were at The Great Barn for a wedding and incredibly convenient. Good space for a party of 5 so everyone could ready with ease. Very clean and tidy property. Easy instructions and very helpful info regarding lack of signal and WiFi codes. Very lovely area. Thank you, we would highly recommended for anyone needing a nice clean home to stay in if attending a local wedding.

The cottage is peaceful and private, as well as being in a beautiful location. Alastair and Vicky are excellent hosts and were most responsive to my requests. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the cozy and comfortable property, Stanley was very responsive over messages when needed. We had a very peaceful stay, all the utensils and other amenities that are needed where provided. 4 great sized bedrooms, 2 large bathrooms and very clean throughout. Plenty of street parking always available and parking permits provided. We will definitely be back to stay again. Thank you again.
