Croeso (welcome) to North Wales, Gilfach is a cosy 1 bedroom self-contained annex situated 2 miles from the market town Dolgellau in the footfalls of Cader Idris mountain in the Snowdonia National Park. Created just for two we hope you enjoy your home away from home while you’re visiting the beautiful mountains. We are ideally located for mountain walking, mountain biking at Coed Y Brenin, beach days at Barmouth & Fairbourne and outdoor thrill activities at many attractions including Zip World.

Forget your worries in this recently refurbished, spacious and peaceful apartment. Easy access to mountains, hills, lakes, rivers, castles, the coastline & the Mach Loop, Dolgellau is truly the 'gateway to Snowdonia' and this apartment would ideally suit hikers, bikers, history lovers and watersports enthusiasts. Unfortunately, we cannot yet accommodate pets and as we have only one double bed, the accommodation suits adults. As a first floor apartment the stairs may be difficult for some guests.

Our Shepherds Hut newly built in 2021 sleeps 2 people and nestles nicely into it's own private space just next to the house, which is in a gorgeous rural location in the heart of Snowdonia national park. This hut has electricity, central heating, and hot water making it a cosy and warm place to stay all year round. There is an outdoor firepit/BBQ with table and bench to sit and eat, where you can take in the beautiful view. It's a perfect location for keen walkers and popular area for cyclist's.

Dolgellau sits in the south of Snowdonia National Park, in the shadow of the Cader Idris mountain range but is also just 8 miles from the sea . Great for mountain bikers, walkers and hikers, but also for families wanting outdoor experiences.

Sŵn-y-Dŵr is located in the Snowdonia National Park and occupies a tranquil position in the historic market town of Dolgellau, renowned for its breathtaking views and scenic walks in the foothills of Cader Idris. The former coach house stands in private mature grounds, and is approached via a gated entrance and a sweeping gravel drive ascending to the property. It is a self contained first floor apartment, accessed via external steps to the rear of the building, that dates back to 1780.

The Hide - Glamping Hut - Snowdonia

A cosy and relaxing space with touches of rustic charm. Located in the heart of Snowdonia, surrounded by the mountains. An open plan living space with all the essentials. Cooking area ,with mini fridge & camping stove. Parking Private parking available, the track up to the cabin is steep. There is a parking space available at the bottom of the track (50 meters away from the cabin) or you are welcome to drive up, as there is space to park and turn around at the top of the track.

Here is our newly completed shepherds Hut -Gwenlli a welsh name that depicts the view of Bardsey Island on the horizon. Situated in a peaceful corner of our field, nestled in the hills above the small village of Talybont in Snowdonia. Overlooking cardigan bay and boasting panaramic views from the Snowdon mountain range in the north to witnessing a memorable sunset over the Lleyn peninsula with a drink in your hand whilst relaxing in the easy to use electric jacuzzi hot tub.

Cosy Cottage in Dolgellau Snowdonia Nant Y Glyn

Nant Y Glyn is a charming, traditional Welsh stone cottage which was build in the early 1800s. We have updated the property to give it a fresh comfortable feel but have retained many original features. One of which is the splendid stone fireplace which now houses a log burning stove. The cottage is nestled within the old part of town, located on a quiet street and within a 2 min walk to the shops and restaurants. There is a small enclosed front patio area.

Our 17th Century self catering cottage is tucked away on the historic farm of Cefndeuddwr, in the heart of the stunning Coed y Brenin Forest Park. High on the ridge between two river valleys, the cottage has panoramic mountain views and blends modern comforts with historical charm. It provides a great location for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and is an ideal base for outdoor activities, family holidays or a quiet escape.
