Hyde Park is the oldest neighborhood in Austin, centrally located, only 1 mile to the University of Texas and 2 miles to downtown. Not only are you close to everything, the neighborhood itself is extremely walkable with gems to explore throughout.

There are several wonderful eateries at the corner of 43rd and Duval Streets in Hyde Park. The area is charming and the food and drinks are excellent. Hyde Park Bar & Grill is the original, with Uncle Nicky's, Julio's, Curra's, Quack's Bakery and Asti clustered right there. The neighborhood loves them all. Another short drive to the west of Red River.
