Huon Valley House is a place where you can unwind in peace and comfort. It’s a spacious, stylish home, with comfortable beds and gorgeous views from every window. It’s private but central to everything the Valley has to offer, and an easy drive to Hobart and other Southern Tasmania destinations. Outside is an acre of lawn and native gardens, birds and occasional wildlife, plenty of parking and large decks with views in all directions. It’s the perfect luxurious base to explore the south-west.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Enjoy the opportunity to stay in one of Derwent Valleys Grand Designs. This spacious studio space expanded over the bottom floor of the house, offers a queen size double bed, ensuite, full kitchen, dining table and living area. National Park is located in the upper Derwent Valley. The accomodation is 5min drive to Mt Field National Park. Maydena bike park just a 15min drive up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful walks with a selection of river valleys, waterfalls and giant trees.

We are located in Castle Forbes Bay in the Huon Valley, (between Franklin & Port Huon) & central to many of the attractions on offer with stunning views of the Huon River. The apartment is ideal for group bookings & longer stays, with cook facilities & washing machine. It also has a large bathroom, separate shower & deep bath to soak in & a large lounge that opens to a private deck. Free WIFI. We are an adults only retreat. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.
