If you are looking for a getaway The Nest is your destination. My family of four and two Aussie Shepherds needed a peaceful time out and Sonya's home was all that and more. We all had a quiet place to be alone and there were both indoor and outdoor spaces for family games. A walk to the beach each morning was minutes from the door steps and the dogs were up at 6:00 am each morning wanting to get out on the sand for a run through the water. The time Sonya has spent on the house speaks volumes. Her attention to detail from the furniture to the lighting to the towel hangers (my son was able to write our names in chalk) shows how much she loves The Nest. I, too, have fallen in love with The Nest. We have been to many airbnbs and this is by far my favourite. Since moving to Queensland, a Queenslander has been my dream and Sonya's house cinched the deal for my next home. We will be returning. Thank you to Susan, as well...An absolute gem.

We booked both appartments. From booking till checkout, the process was smooth n easy. Thanks to Ana for managing communication effectively. The place is well equipped with everything we needed for our 2 nights stay. Kids enjoyed board game and adults had fun watching large screen tv with fast internet. We were amazed to experience pleasant sitting areas insides and outsides. Everything at property was well presented and placed for a comfortable stay. There was no soap or shampoo in showers which was easily fixed by a quick visit to a minute away IGA. Very friendly neighbourhood. The neighbours cute dog visited us and played with our kids those named her “Snowy”. Very peacefully and laid back area to enjoy a break from urban hustle. There are not many options for vegetarians that we were aware of and made arrangements before arrival i.e brought own and cook own. Kitchen was well equipped to do so. Overall, we definitely recommend this place. 5 STARS Thank you

What a lovely 3 night stay we’ve just enjoyed at this beautiful cottage! There’s a peaceful and happy vibe to Anna’s place. You can constantly hear beautiful bird song around you and waking up to see the cows and horses through the window was so special. Our 4yr old son had the time of his life feeding and patting the horses and became best friends with Charlie the cat. The cottage is neat and clean with comfortable beds and the shower had good pressure & was spotless. Both Anna and Scott were incredibly friendly and close by if needed. We would love to return!

Jill has an absolutely beautiful house with a great sized grassy yard for the kids to play, plus a ping pong table. Was brilliant sitting on the deck enjoying beautiful sea views and breezes. It’s a very short walk to the beach where we spent a lot of time swimming and fishing! Also the pub is close by for a coldie or 2! We loved every minute!!

Chelseas place was absolutely Beautiful, Spotless and clean, it was very well appointed with everything we needed, the outside areas were very well set up with ample seating and a great BBQ for the odd meal that we cooked at home, Chelsea had thought of everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable; we would highly recommend this accommodation for all who wish to enjoy the lovely Hervey Bay area.

loved the place perfect location but we wrote a letter about something that needs fixing so hopefully they will be fixing it soon :)

Branka is amazing! The place is beautifully decorated and when I left my bridal bouquet on the table on the way to my wedding, Branka personally rushed it to the venue herself to be sure that I had it. Thank you so much Branka!

Amazing and super cool place - we had both villas for a family trip and it worked brilliantly. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough
