Dave and Wendy were excellent hosts and their property was the perfect spot for our bachelor party. Even with the weather preventing some outdoor activities, there were still plenty of amenities on the property to keep us entertained and plenty of space to accommodate everybody.

Beautiful property with stunning views! We appreciated all the amenities, but our stay was marred by concerns about safety due to the neighbor's dog, Lady. While we understand she is out of the hosts control, we feel there should be a warning. Despite being described as friendly, Lady was loud, energetic, and unpredictable. Her behavior was a concern, especially with our small Pomeranian. We had a couple uncomfortable interactions, and attempts to address the issue were met with deflection by her owner. We'd consider returning if pet owners took responsibility for controlling their animals. Until then, we caution fellow pet owners, especially those with small pets.

Bob & Lee are godsend, they worked with us countlessly. They are very responsive, courteous, kind and so thoughtful! Just to illustrate : I like my clothes ironed & asked if they had any. They didn’t b/c it’s not something they do so never even thought of getting one BUT it didn’t stop them from 1. Bringing me a wrinklefree spray right away AND 2. Buy the flat iron & board. If anything, the hosts alone, truly make the stay worth it! However, that’s not all. The pictures do not do justice to The Leona. It’s an instant « I wanna stay here for the rest of my life » type of feeling. It was spotless, tidy, beautifully decorated with a homey feel and had all the amenities one could need for a stay. The experience could stop there and it’d be a-ma-zing. But, Bob&Lee just like to go above and beyond. No less. So, they thought of a rec room! Next door there’s a cabin where one can work out, get a massage, or just get cosy by the fireplace & get some reading done. I mean, what else to ask?

Matt's Yurt created the exact experience I was envisioning, to herald in a new year (2025). I was looking for place that is different, unique and inspired my creativity. Also, being surrounded by nature, but not too far from home was on my list. What a treat it was, to get all of the things on my wish list. Staying here was a unique experience that inspired me to the knowing that 2025 is a new year, and a time of infinite possibilities. This location was warm and inviting, with great attention to detail for having just what is needed to be comfortable. The yurt had warm lighting in each room, and an open, flowing, yet cozy design. I fell in love with the tall ceiling with the glass window (I believe they call it a "cap"). New Year's Eve was very windy, and the whistling wind outside, while being warm and cozy inside was captivating. Matt was quickly responsive and helpful to any questions throughout my stay. I really look forward to returning when even more of nature is active.

Dave and Wendy were amazing hosts for our church annual men's retreat. They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating to our needs. The property was perfect for our group and had everything we needed for a successful retreat. We can't wait to come back next year and would highly recommend staying with them. Everything was great and we had an excellent experience.

Patty was a wonderful host! She was always responsive to any questions I had, and was always willing to help out with anything! Her cabin was perfect for a small weekend getaway with my husband. We brought our toy poodle with us with no issues. Beautiful property a surrounded by the woods and a small pond. A perfect place for a quiet getaway. I would recommend her place and would love to revisit again!
