Located on 35 acres in the rural community of High Prairie, the owners are part of the region's ranching tradition and sustainable farming practices. The property includes a walking trail, 8 hole frisbee golf, farm animals, farm fresh eggs, and ranch raised beef.

We are off grid so we provide a WOOD STOVE, firewood is available, propane heater and power station for charging your electronics. Extra guests after 2 are $20 pp. a night. You are invited to stay in a Klickitat County landmark, listed on both the state and federal registers of historic places. The Red House built for the ‘Horse King of the Northwest’ Charles Newell and his wife Mary in 1890, is now a distinctive vacation rental. The Red House’s three stories are furnished with art, antique/vintage finds, colored glass windows, original ornamental trim, fresh linens and comfortable beds. The house is well equipped and designed for relaxing.

Our creekside cabin features a cozy loft bedroom, kitchenette, wood stove, heat pump, full bath, and TVs with DVDs. Outside, enjoy an oversized covered deck with seating, fire pit, grill, and beautiful views of Mosier Creek and the hillside. Unwind to the sound of the water in this peaceful setting, minutes from wineries, Gorge hikes, wind-surfing and Hood River. Wi-Fi is available but can occasionally be temperamental due to our rural Starlink service.

Hot tub under the stars. Relax at this quiet completely remodeled farmhouse. Built in 1900 this house has old world charm with modern amenities. The house is complete with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, wifi, TV, and hot tub. Enjoy everything the gorge has to offer, then unwind in the hot tub. Pets allowed :)
