I highly recommend Elmos for anyone searching for an extremely comfortable, colorful BnB in a peaceful setting away from the hustle and bustle of city living. The hot tub, super comfy bed, quality linen, tasty breakfast and chocolate treats were very much appreciated. The hosts are very friendly, responsive and provide for a warm and thoroughly enjoyable BnB experience!

Loved the peace and quiet, especially loved soaking in the spa in the cold wind just as daylight starts to diminish - perfect! Nice little bedsit tucked away in the middle of nowhere, clean and tidy, close to drive in either direction to town for supplies or coffee or.... really enjoyed this beautiful sanctuary, highly recommend staying here.

Cherie's place was perfect for our stop to the areas famous attraction, Hobbiton. Was just minutes to the location and made the early tour easy to get to. would definitely recommend!

The Villa is super stunning and rustic with all and more than needed ammenities. Our group thoroughly enjoyed spending an evening here. Laura was also super helpful and quick with communication and clear instructions. Definitely would love to go back for a longer stay and possibly even make use of the space for events. We had an amazing time at the Joannes place. It is such a peaceful and relaxing location , I spent hours looking out at the view and watching the birds. Joanne also provided a bunch of complimentary treats which was a really nice touch to the stay. If you’re looking for an escape for reality this is the place to go! Look forward to coming back some day :)

Shona was friendly and helpful. Her spacious home and beautiful gardens were lovely! We truly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for 2 weeks in Sarah and James’ place. The cottage was simple but comfortable. The basic kitchen was very adequate for the food preparation we did over our stay. Highlights were the spectacular views and cozy living room with terrific fireplace (wood burning stove) that we used on most nights. Sarah was very responsive and recommended several beautiful hikes and walking trails that started from their pasture land and went up a mountain for great views and meandered beside the local river. Waihi, the nearest town for shopping, was 15 minutes drive. Waihi Beach, a beautiful beach for relaxing, swimming, and walking was uncrowded and about 25 minutes drive. We really enjoyed our stay.

This self-contained unit was one of the nicest ones that we stayed at on our trip. Lots of space, nicely decorated and very clean. Katie greeted us when we arrived and she made a great restaurant recommendation. It’s located in a quiet residential area. Very nice.

We had a fabulous stay at Elizabeth's home. The house is immaculate, with beautiful linen and very comfy beds. The location was a perfect mid-way point between our rowing commitments at Lake Karapiro and enjoying the restaurants of Cambridge. Elizabeth also took care to ensure we had the provisions we needed.
