Ferienunterkünfte in Maybeury

Loved the cabin! Very remote and peaceful. The bed was super comfy and everything we needed was available. The trails are a little bit of a haul to get to but the directions left for us were very helpful, even with our tablet/maps. Wish there was a dining room table or maybe an island bar but we made do! Loved sitting in the front porch and out back by the fire pit. The best part was Josie, the sweet house cat. We will definitely miss her!!

Peggy’s place was nice and comfy. Perfect for our little family! She was a great host!!

Anna and Bill’s place was perfect. It is such a nice, spacious place on the river, with an incredible porch for hanging out on a lovely day like we had. They were also super responsive. Couldn’t recommend this more for anyone like us getting out of the city and spending time in West Virginia.

My fiancé and I stayed in Red Bud with our little dog for 6 nights and loved it so much! The view was incredible and we enjoyed how quiet our surroundings were. Having a cup of coffee on the porch every morning was like a dream. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We were surprised because it had everything we needed plus more! Most cabins are bare bones but not this. Also if you are someone in need of internet, the internet was perfect and gave us no trouble. We also arrived at night and it was of course very dark, I messaged Rich to help us get to the cabin and he called me and stayed on the phone with us until we were there, which was super appreciated. As far as activity recommendations, the immediate area is pretty remote, but we drove one day (about 40 mins maybe?) to Hanging Rock Raptor Observatory (short but very pretty hike!) and then went to the Cheese ‘n More Store for a sandwich after. The perfect day trip! Both are worth the drive/visit. We will be back!

We initially planned to travel to Virginia but opted for an overnight stay in West Virginia to rest. We made a reservation and are pleased with our decision. The accommodations were beautiful, spacious, and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay.

We had a great time at Garry's place! The place was very clean and well furnished, and we appreciated the many bedrooms (my adolescent son likes his privacy). We enjoyed the location by the river, plus the kids loved spending time around the fire pit where they built a fire every night. Great location also if you want to visit Sandstone Falls or hike the Grandview Rim Trail. We hope to visit again.

Dave was great! Check-in was super easy, the place is very nice, there is plenty to do in the surrounding area, and if you have questions he's very responsive. Would stay again!

This was such a beautiful and lovely cabin right on the water. We basically sat on the screened in porch all day enjoying the tranquility and peacefulness hearing and watching the river. This place was perfect!!!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay with you!

My friends and I met at Anita’s place, it was perfectly located halfway between my home in South Carolina and my friend’s homes in Pennsylvania. Anita’s back to the fifties home was exactly what we were looking for. My friends and I try to get together every spring and every fall, and we will most likely return to Anita’s place in the future. We are all cat lovers, so Elvis and his friends the were an added bonus for us!! We also enjoyed watching deer, in the back yard in the evenings!! Loved reading about the history of the family and the home that was displayed throughout the home!! We had a fabulous time!
