You will have everything required for a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Barkly, you will feel above the rest and a piece of mind knowing that not only you but as well your vehicle and belonging are secure locked in the spacious Garage with access from the apartment. Located within a quiet street of the popular inner suburb on the fringe of the City of Melbourne, BRUNSWICK, 400m to the left is Barkly Square Shopping Complex, Sydney Rd with its Middle Eastern Cafes and Restaurants, walk or catch a tram to the City Centre, first stop to the left is Princes Park, a major sports and recreation Park, home to the Blues Aussie Rules Football Club, to the right two minutes walk to Melbourne Zoo Royal Park. second stop, Melbourne University, third stop, the famous Queen Vic Market, and next you're at Melb. Spacious Art Deco Apartment Steps from the Beach

The apartment is in excellent condition, it is an older style deco apartment with large rooms which is typical of this era. The kitchen has Miele appliances and all the essential cooking equipment. There is a fireplace in the lounge room for the winter months. It also has a lovely view of the bay. The apartment consists of separate kitchen, dining and lounge rooms, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. All the rooms are available to guests booking the apartment. If required there is a further room including laundry facilities for longer stays of 5 plus days. Contact for guests is available throughout the stay on mobile. We can meet you at the property to ensure you are comfortably settled in or if more convenient we can leave keys in the key safe. Located just across from the beach in St Kilda West, the apartment is close to delights both natural and cultural. Walk the famous Beaconsfield Parade Promenade, relax at the St Kilda Sea Baths, convenient local transport to city, cultural centres and sporting arenas, head to the buzzing neighborhood cafes, or to the restaurant across the road to take in the sunset. The number 12 Tram runs on the street directly behind the apartment, it connects to the city. It runs through South Melbourne, along Collins Street making easy access to the Tennis Centre and the MCG. The number 96, a 5 min walk, is the light rail that runs down Bourke Street and into Carlton and Fitzroy. There are Green Cars available for hire and cabs or Ubers are plentiful in the area. Complimentary supplies are left for a breakfast with tea and coffee. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash in both bathrooms. A hairdryer and hair straightener for convenience. If required we can prepare hampers or, we can do some shopping with a brief and your budget.

Delightful self contained cottage

The cottage is self contained and is a well designed space that accommodates a queen sized bed, bathroom and a separate study and is set in an enchanting cottage garden. The well equipped kitchen is in a separate space though part of the cottage and is accessed by its own door from the decking, so you don't have far to go. In the morning lorikeets and other wild birds come to feed and you will be awoken to the romantic sound of birdsong. During spring and summer the garden is at its loveliest.

The apartment is located in a quiet leafy inner city neighbourhood (6kms from the CBD). It is a 2 minute walk from the tram and a kilometre from the trains. Local shops (supermarket, liquour, pharmacy, newsagent, bakery, cafes and takeaways) are a 5 minute walk away. The tram will take you to the City and local shopping precincts, the Caulfield Racecourse and local hospitals. We are 2.5kms from the start of the Grand Prix Circuit (Albert Park Lake) and a tram ride from the Rod Laver Arena.

The Stables have been converted into a spacious, sun-lit, private, fully self-contained accommodation over 2 levels with a shared garden and independent access (allowing you to come and go as you please).
