Ferienunterkünfte in Messalonskee Lake

Sebago Lake area is a new destination for us and we were looking for an AirBnB specifically in the Standish area. We are a family of 5, including 3-teenage boys so it was important to us that everyone had their own bed, and there was space to spread out. This property more than exceeded our expectations. Spacious, exactly as described, beautifully decorated. Each bedroom had comfortable beds with window AC units as well as fans. The fire pit area was so relaxing. Private beach was a short 0.5 mile walk away. Boys loved the paddleboard and kayaks, and the added bonus of a private dock allowed us to rent a pontoon boat for the day. Would definitely recommend this property!

This place was quiet and close to the lake exactly what our group need for our yearly ice fishing trip Leslie was very responsive and easy to talk to would definitely recommend and make a return trip

Beautiful house on the pond! Perfect for our family of 4. It was comfortable and relaxing. Amy is a wonderful host! She checked in and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay! Hoping to stay again sometime.

We stayed for a short weekend trip and the house was absolutely amazing! Everything was clean and organized. The hosts even left flowers, chocolate, and a gift card for ice cream. The house book made it simple to know how everything in the house works. The view from the hot tub was spectacular. The only downside was the restaurant that was recommended in the book (Must Be Nice) was closed even though their website said open. Hoping to get to try it the next time we stay here. I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had the most lovely, relaxing weekend at the cottage! The view is amazing and the cottage is super cozy. Leslie and Gordon are very kind, welcoming hosts. This is a pet friendly gem in an amazing location!

I you want to have a peaceful stay at a cabin in the woods, this place’s got it! The surrounding area was very beautiful. There’s lots to do in the pond right by the cabins. The hosts are awesome! They were very proactive and quickly responded to any questions/issues we had. They also provided great local recommendations (I would also add Rangeley Lake to the list). Overall, we had a great time and we were glad we chose this place!

Another Great stay at the Freeport Escape. Marlene and Kevin are some of the top hosts we have worked with. Always responsive and so accommodating. We got snowed in this trip and it was a great time to enjoy family time, the coziness of the house and everything it had to offer. Thank you for another great trip and we cannot wait to come back!

Quiet and serene. We visited with 3 kids and our dog. We spend spring break here and being early in the season most stores and restaurants were jot yet open. We managed amd had good quality family time. Loved the area which had ample Preserves to go on one or two walks each day. The house was clean and had ample supplies from towesl to kitchenware. Highly recommend this spot. Thank you!
