Absolutely stunning place a lovely place to get away from the stresses of life for a few days

We had a wonderful stay in the lodges while visiting family in the area. Andrea was incredibly helpful from first communication and just the loveliest, most accomodating host. The lodges are idyllic and situated in lovely surroundings with nice walks. We will not hesitate to book again.

We have just had a fantastic holiday at the eco lodge. It is clean, well equipped and comfortable, a great space for two families of four. Fun to have a piano. The garden is beautiful, so much birdsong and we loved relaxing outside and enjoying the pond. The hot tub was such a treat. The kids loved playing in the drive on the scooters and tandem bike. Ian is a kind and truly welcoming host, he was flexible when we had to change a date and gave us some good local info. He definitely bakes the best scones in Devon! We would love to visit again, a very special place.

Possibly the best Airbnb I have stayed in. Such a unique, beautiful spot. The bedrooms are super spacious with super comfortable beds and it was great to have the two toilets. The property has everything you need and has been thoughtfully designed. Everywhere was spotless! The log burner was lovely to use at night and the hot tub with the stunning views and surroundings is just perfect! We saw so many different types of birds whilst there! We would love to return and will recommend to others.

WOW! This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in! If you’re staying in Glastonbury but want a peaceful place to stay (which is ten mins from the walk to the Tor) just book it ! The house is absolutely stunning but we spent most of the time in the garden which is out of this world and very private. The hot tub was a huge bonus after a trip into town to relax away from the crowds – Sophie has made her home so welcoming & its perfect for a group. The beds are so comfy and all you can hear is birdsong each morning – its is so gorgeous and tranquil. The location couldn’t have been better – we went into town to eat (Queen of Cups is fab) one night but stayed ‘home’ for the rest of the time. Chalice Well & White Springs also within walking distance (down dirt track). Celebrated my 50th here and from start to finish it was the perfect weekend. Thanks so much Sophie. Cove Cottage is a wonderfully cozy place to stay in a great location in Portland. It had everything our family needed, was clean and the beds were super comfy. Parking wasn't a problem and checking in and out was really simple. Would highly recommend.

Such a wonderful stay, peaceful surroundings and a beautiful property that had everything we needed. Great communication with the host which was really appreciated.

Catharine saved the day when we were let down, more than last minute at another property let ( not Air b&b). As it was so last minute, Catharine hadn't been able to get a change over sorted and therefore knocked some money off for us to sort it ( fresh linen etc all available). However, she managed to get a friend in to do almost all of this anyway, before we arrived a couple of hours later! The house and surroundings were stunning, peaceful and so completely what we needed at this time. We thoroughly enjoyed everything about the house and Catharine has balanced a large open spaced building with perfect modern touches, making it feel super cosy. The hot tub, the river, the views just make it so uniquely tranquil. We also enjoyed the woods behind, foraging/scrumping apples, and some peaceful walks with the pooch. We really hope to revisit at some point in thw future. Experiencing it in the summer would be amazing I imagine. Thank you Catharine. Kate, Matt, kids and Willow

This place was stunning, my family loved being here. Pictures do not do it justice. Would recommend and would stay again.

I went for the Easter long weekend with my mum and friend. Anna is super lovely and made the whole stay great. It was self check in but she was available over message and very responsive. The flat is super clean, comfortable and spacious. We had treatments at Annas salon (massages and facials) and we all agreed they were the best we ever had. Couldn't recommend enough!

David and Pamela were very welcoming, friendly and accommodating. We stayed for 1 night and all went as well as the description stated. Thank you for your hospitality and would recommend staying at their apartment. Easy parking and close to town and amenities.

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

Just had another great stay with Alison. The apartment was spotless as always. It is well equipped and Alison is such a great host. She is friendly and helpful. What more could you ask.

The place was perfect for what we wanted. It was in a good location, not too far from town (10 minute walk) but far enough to be quiet at night. Along with the teas and coffees there were a couple of croissants with butter and jam and some milk, very thoughtful. You can get straight out into the countryside via a path near to the house. Sue was vey quick to reply to any questions and is a lovely host. All in all a great place to stay. Also, my wife left a pair of earrings there and Sue posted them to us. Very happy wife 😊

This place was a real find! The cottage itself is cosy, pristine, and each bedroom has its own ensuite which was amazing. It has a lovely seating area on either side of the cottage. The photos don't do the exterior justice. There was a little Japanese style garden and seating area, a larger greenspace and the whole area felt extremely peaceful even the cottage is located just off the A road. We booked it because of its brilliant location near gorgeous beaches and Plymouth. Sandra was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. We can highly recommend this place!

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

We have just stayed at The Wales Retreat for the 2nd time (the first time being 3 years ago). This place truly is a retreat. The location is fabulous, a lovely quiet site and sitting on the comfortable chairs on the decking, all you can hear is the sound of the waves and the sea. All the different options for seating, means that there is a seat suitable for everyone. The garden is secure for dogs and there is an area for fire pits and BBQ. The Wales Retreat is true to the photos. It's spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. It is a home from home and has all the facilities you need to make it a fabulous holiday. Emily keeps you informed of all the instructions you need to check in and a number is provided should you need it if you have any issues. There is a pub onsite which serves food in the evening and also has a children's play area. The walk down to the beach is not an easy one, but it is worth it. This is a five star accommodation and we look forward to staying again.

We had a great 2 night stay at the cabin - it was very clean, homely and in a great peaceful location in the countryside. Carole was very friendly and met us to check us in and gave us helpful information about the place and nearby locations. We loved the animals, especially the goats who were full of character and kept us entertained when sitting outside in the evenings! Would definitely recommend to anyone :)

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

We had a lovely,pleasant and relaxing stay at the cabin, the cabin was well equipped with everything we needed,and we had a lovely helpful host. The cabin is in an ideal location close to Bude, and other nice places.

The cabin was perfect, and the garden space was ample, which my dogs loved. I could even let them off-leash without worrying about them escaping through the wire fencing. My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic massage treatment from Claire, the host, and I highly recommend it if you stay there. The cabin itself had a comfortable bed and felt very clean. It also had a powerful shower, which can be hard to find in a cabin. Claire's excellent touch was our three dogs' dog beds and treats. The local walking areas are absolutely stunning, although you do have to drive a bit to reach restaurants and other amenities.

Stayed for my 40th birthday followed directions and used what 3 words worked great no issues finding it. I would recommend bring some food with you as shops are quite far away. The pub wasn't open when we were there and the closest spar had limited choice of food but everything in kitchen worked great. Had a very relaxing stay enjoyed hot tub and sauna. A few places on the local recommendations have now closed but otherwise would def recommend to friends. Cooper loved running around in wildflowers, stream and looking out the huge windows at birds and squirrels. Loved it 🥰
