Cocoya is a working coconut and cinnamon plantation. Our house Sama means "Peace" in Sinhalese. It is designed to be a simple, open and spacious plantation home that connects with nature. It features an open living space, a kitchen and direct access to a 17m pool. Upstairs we have a master suite and junior bedroom that share a balcony with plantation views. Both have ensuite open-air showers. Guests enjoy a fully equipped kitchen and exclusive pool access. We do not have air-conditioning.

This home is known for seeing the most wildlife Kabalana beach is a 5min walk away. This is one of five properties on the estate. Each house is hidden by its own flora and fauna. Our homes were designed to give a sense of privacy and space, bringing you close to nature to rest and be inspired by.

Built in 1956, Dragon-Fly house is very spacious and peaceful. It is ideal for celebrating an event or practising Yoga. The main house has a brand new roof! We have excellent wifi coverage. With a large verandah and open spaces in most rooms, you can enjoy it like home. It boasts a large kitchen, with an American fridge, an Air fryer, an oven, a coffee maker and all the mod cons to allow for easy cooking. There is one other room set apart from the main house, which I normally use.

Breakfast is included and our partner restaurant serving Asian fusion cuisine will deliver lunch and dinner to you should you require. The beach and a surf break are a short walk down the road (<200m).

Wathsudda is one of three self catering bungalows at D Canal House . The bungalow is air conditioned and consist of a double bedroom, a very spacious bathroom , walk in wardrobe , a kitchenette and has two verandas leading to a private garden. It is also air conditioned .D Canal House is an ideal place to switch off from the outside world and re connect with nature through the sound of flowing water coming from the stream and ponds of the tropical gardens.
