Ferienunterkünfte mit Kamin in Modoc County

I stayed here as a base camp for a winter mountaineering trip in the Warner Mountains with my family. It was a welcoming home with rustic charm but also modern amenities. I will definitely be staying again. We really liked exploring nearby Cedarville, Ca as well. My kids liked look at the old church and post office in Eagleville.

Five stars! Christy is a wonderful host and made our stay in Cedarville, California, very enjoyable. We encountered a minor, unforeseen issue with the heat in one of the rooms, but Christy immediately sent a kind and helpful gentleman who quickly resolved it. The home offered a lovely and charming country stay, surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Modoc County. Each room was thoughtfully furnished, with many small touches that showed great attention to detail. I especially appreciated practical features like a well-placed bathroom hook — a small but often overlooked convenience that made a big difference. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again without hesitation!

Stephen and Minty are great hosts! I have stayed multiple times and it is always a pleasure. Cozy cabin with everything you need.

Stephan was always available to answer any question we had, the house was recently renovated and was very comfortable and clean. We would definitely stay again.

Stephen is a great host. He gives clear and concise instructions and is very responsive. If there are any problems or questions, he will try to make it right. The description and photos of the place is spot on. Good place to stay and relax. It is quiet and peaceful, and the sound of the creek is relaxing. There are a lot of stairs. It is NOT for the physically impaired. The upstairs bathroom /shower is smaller than what I am used to. The downstairs (2nd floor) bathroom is good, but it has a tub. Beds are firm and comfortable. Kitchen and living area are great.

Jan and Russ are very welcoming. We love the old farmhouse, and appreciate how well equipped it is. We also enjoy the supplies that are provided (such as OJ, delicious home-made bread and jam, etc). The immediate surroundings and location in the Surprise Valley are heavenly, and the access to hiking in the South Warner Wilderness is excellent. It is my all time favorite Airbnb!

I really enjoyed my stay! The place is adorable. The fenced yard is great for the pups. Greg is super helpful and responds quickly. I travel alone so safety is important and I felt safe here. I would definitely stay again!
