Large Vega Lake Colorado Real Log Cabin

Open year round, this spectacular 5300 sq ft log cabin is a 1-hr drive from Grand Junction Airport. Nestled in an aspen grove overlooking Vega Lake, the cabin sleeps 16 total guests (all children/adults included) and parks up to 8 vehicles. Wildlife abounds and the lake is full of trout (some up to 5 lbs). Outdoor equipment is offered free of charge (see amenities) to enhance your stay. An expansive covered deck has a propane grill for BBQs and there is an outdoor fire pit for fireside evenings.

The yard had beautiful flower beds, not to mention the amazing view of Mt. Garfield! The house itself was very comfortable and had anything you can imagine in the kitchen, making a few at home dinners a breeze. The Silo is a unique experience, and we invite you to experience it! The Silo is exactly that – a guest room built inside a grain bin. It has the traditional furnishings of a hotel room – queen bed, table with chairs, refrigerator, and microwave – but no television, running water, or indoor bathroom. It does have an outdoor kitchenette and bathroom facility. Best of all, it has spectacular views!
