The Chook Nook provided my family of 7 plus pet a nice affordable getaway in a beautiful relaxing environment. The kitchen was well stocked with seasonings and cook ware. Bathroom was clean and well stocked with clean towels. Beds were clean and comfortable. The host Jennifer was very responsive to any questions. Thank you again for being a great host on short notice.

We had a family gathering wanted to put family together it was perfect place for that type of occasion everything was seamless from the very beginning of checking in throughout all the way to checking out if anyone is looking for getaway with large amount of bedrooms and beds I definitely recommend thank you for being attentive host thank you again.

I stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed my time. Older house with modern touches. All the lights and fans were labeled, nice coffee and tea set up, really great shower, comfortable bed, new and clean outdoor furniture. My favorite part was having the sliding doors open and listening to the birds all day. It rained a lot during my stay so I wasn’t able to use the fire pit or water toys, but everything you need is provided. My only issue was that I’m a light sleeper and the furnace is old and very loud and in a closet right outside the bedroom. Even with the door closed and a white noise machine on, when it kicked on at night it woke me up every time. Also, neighbor's house next door is very close and a bit of an eyesore with a beat up trailer parked, but neighborhood was very quiet.

Perfect place for our large group of kids. Communication with owner was easy and punctual. I would highly recommend this place.

Was warm and cozy felt like home conveniently by a little store, cafe. Dinner. Enjoyed a nice dinner on the grill provided at house with a fire before bed. Was a nice little home!

This house was perfect for our needs, the kitchen was spacious as were the bedrooms. The added bonus was the lower level with the bunk bed "room" with regular bedroom close by for parents. The kids loved it! In addition upstairs and downstairs had ample living spaces. Also lake property with nice deck off water with ample seating. The back of house had great lighting at night. We turned it on to find numerous deer having their own party before they disappeared into the night. Paul was a great host responding quickly to any questions. Would recommend this for families or adults weekend!

This was a great experience! The views are so beautiful and there is so much to do right in the home! I spent my 30th birthday here with my family and I couldn’t ask for anything better. The host is very responsive and supportive! Any time I had a question, he responded immediately! Additionally, I went with family of all ages and every one of us had a great experience in the home. There were so many different games to enjoy. The home is also very spacious! I had a great time and I know my family did too. I highly recommend this Airbnb and honestly at any time throughout the year as there is a lot to do right inside. It was a bit chilly and rained a bit, but we were still able to enjoy it a lot!!

This was a lovely little house on a small lake. Although the neighbor was close the fence helped it feel very private. We had a nice stay and it was very close to many hiking locations and places to get provisions in Greenville. The hot tub was very nice and the home was very clean. We loved having two bathrooms, which made it very convenient. We love to cook when we travel, and I would say the kitchen was fairly well stocked (7/10). The bed was very comfortable - a memory-foam-type. Very firm but we slept well. If only it was warmer and we could have used the kayaks and fire pit. But we did enjoy the hot tub every day. Wifi was fast too.

My wife Tess and I came here to celebrate her 55th birthday and words can't describe how much fun we had and how clean and accommodating and cozy the cottage was. Frank and John were awesome. They were very attentive to us especially for my wife's birthday they had a German Chocolate Cake waiting for her in the fridge along with a nice greeting board at the door wishing her a happy birthday and welcoming us to the cottage. They came out Friday and set up the paddle boat and kayaks along with vests and even accommodated us with items to light the fire pit as well. WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN HERE WHEN ITS WARMER OUTSIDE, BUT WE STILL HAD A BLAST AND FRANK AND JOHN ARE AWSOME HOSTS. ITS WELL WORTH THE MONEY AND MORE! MY WIFE SAID THAT THIS WAS TRULY THE BEST BIRTHDAY SHE EVER HAD!
