Peaceful parks - Orr, Shoal Creek, Ebenezer Swamp, Cahaba National Wildlife Refuge, & Brierfield SP - bring you close to nature. Relax with a beverage on the front porch swing or the back deck. Sleep restfully on new mattresses. Our cottage has a well equipped kitchen & we have ample off-street parking. Enjoy your stay!

1800's Victorian Home ~SWAN House~ 5 miles off I65

Step back to Alabama's past. Historical Victorian style Thorsby Home. The Swan house. Built in the late 1800s, its like having an entire bed & breakfast to yourself! Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate, relaxing on one of the huge porches. Ruko TV. Neighborhood is safe and quiet. House sleeps 9, extra fee for more then 6 guest. Dish washing is old fashion way - by hand. (No dish washer) Parking for two cars in driveway and addition parking in yard allowed.

This is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bathroom private suite that sits on 14 acres. Enjoy the large back deck or walk around our mushroom yard where we grow Log-grown Shiitake Mushrooms. This private suite (meaning closed off) from the main house is surrounded by trees and wildlife. We offer a sitting area inside and out, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot tea, wireless internet, and TV with free Netflix.
